What tool is that you used to apply the vynal whats it called? Where can we get that?
The easiest way to cut a small vinyl piece is to go to the Advanced Menu, the Sensor option, and turn off the sensor! That will help you cut even 2x2-inch material.
Can you cut cardstock decals using the Cricut mat if the cardstock doesn't have a backing?

Do you know of any grid template to use in the software for easier placement on the mat? Looking to cut several different small vinyl and of different colors. Using a grid aslong as the blade starts in the right spot and wherever the vinyl is on the grid matches up with the grid on the computer it should work perfectly.
Couldn't you just use a grid in your design software?

Yes, I have a Roland Versacamm printer. It uses ecosolvent inks and cuts the design
Do you have to adjust the pressure of the cutter to accommodate the extra thickness of the matte. Wouldn’t the cutter cut through the vinyl carrier sheet without adjusting the pressure?

What is the tool you use to push the sticker onto the Cora plast
Hello Jennifer, the tool is called Big Squeegee. www.bigsqueegee.com/order.html. Here is where to find it. I have both the metal and the plastic one. I like the plastic one better as it is lighter and easier for me to handle. You want one that is wider than the stickers you are laying down. I hope this helps!

Hi Brenda, when I click on "unite" I get a box popped up in AI that reads: "The filter produced no results. Please select two overlapping paths." I looks as if my image is already flattened so I could I go onto the next step? Thank you!

Hi Maricela! Yes, you can use CorelDraw. You just need to export them in the format for your cutter.

Hi Uncle Sam, It depends on how you plan to print them out. My program for my Roland Versacamm requires and EPS file to print and cut. I'm not familiar with all printers, so you will need to look into that first.
I always wondered why or what the use was with using a cutting board with a graphtec. You can actually do the same exact thing without a cutting board. If this is used for doing micro fonts then im heading to buy a cutting board now.
This is used when the strips are too narrow or short to fit through graphtec. This will let you use scraps for small pieces. Thanks for watching!
@@mensanstudios Not to be combative . I have used narrower and shorter pieces. The last bottom grip area on the right allows for the pinch rollers adjusted to the vinyl length needed. I also put a piece of tape over the back sensor.

hey I just purchased my us cutter an I wanted to start thr yard sign business in Memphis Tennessee please help me idk what else I need an how to create the signs....my questions are how to cut the plastic sign into the letter ...how do you get the color on the plastic board
So sorry Shanikia. In this video I walk you through how to do it step by step. You will use a heat knife or box cutter to cut letters and you will use a squeegee to adhere letters to plastic. I hope the video helps.

Hi Lauren. Thanks fo watching! I am mounting vinyl on coroplast. You can get it at craft stores or at a plastic fabricator.
Hi, great vid! what sort of Rowland printer would you recommend for a start up and also what software do you use to design?
Hi Nas, I would suggest starting with a good used printer, but be careful with who you buy it from. I bought ours from a company that we purchase new equipment from and we have a good working relationship. I use the full Adobe Creative Suite, but I would say Illustrator & Photoshop are the ones I use most. I also use Coreldraw for some projects. I hope this helps.
