Valley of Fire State Park – Moapa Valley, NV
We took some time out of our off-roading adventures in Nevada to explore the Valley of Fire State Park. It is Nevada’s oldest and largest state park and has so much to explore!
We saw all kinds of wildlife, including bighorn sheep, but unfortunately no tortoise. It was cold out and they were all sleeping it off. But the terrain is the big draw to this park.
Take some time to wander through the visitor’s center to learn all about what created the incredible rock formations. Then, explore the trails and see the colorful sandstone up close. You won’t be disappointed. We tried to capture some of the beauty in this video, but really, I could sit for hours just watching a single view and how it changes with the light. Sunset puts on a show in the park no matter where you are. This is definitely a must-see for anyone interested in wildlife or landscape photography.
We hope you enjoyed the video,
Corey and Lorilei

Hump'n Bump Day 2 - Shedder Bowl
มุมมอง 5784 ปีที่แล้ว
For Day 2 at Hump'n Bump we signed up for Shedder Bowl Trail, rated a 7 in the Logandale Trail System, Nevada. This trail lived up to it's rating and was packed full of challenging off-road trails and obstacles. There were bypasses for the more difficult obstacles and it would be easy to bring the trail rating down to a 6 or maybe even a 5. Of course Corey took the hard lines and embraced the f...
Hump'n Bump Day 1 - the Matterhorn Trail
มุมมอง 4834 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video we join the Vegas Valley 4 Wheelers for the annual Hump'n Bump off-road event in Logandale, NV. On Day 1 we went on the Matterhorn trail which is rated a 6. It did have some obstacles that required more clearance and lockers were an advantage, but not necessary with the right line. Warning - there are no bypasses for a couple obstacles. Even so, I would probably call this trail a ...

Tackling Nasty Half - Sand Hollow OHV
มุมมอง 2.3K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Corey joins new friends from Texas/Mexico to play on Nasty Half trail for some rock crawling. Even the pros have challenges on this trail. They came across Jesse Haines flipped on his lid at one of the obstacles and helped winch him back over. Later, one of the group gets his Tacoma bound up and the control arm frame mount rips as they tried to winch him out. It was some extreme trail fix to cu...
Slick Rock Newbies Visit Little Moab
มุมมอง 1.2K4 ปีที่แล้ว
@SlowRoadCo heads to southern Utah and finds their first slick rock challenge at Little Moab, UT, just outside of Provo. It was a great test of the Jeep Wrangler off road capabilities and our driving skills before we head to Trail Hero. The Jeep build includes 37" Milestar Patagonia tires, JKS suspension and Fox shocks Music: www.bensound.com Music by BenSound.com

Ollalie Lake is one of our favorite Oregon camping destinations. It is known for having great lake fishing and hiking trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail. This trip we explored around the lake and did some Jeep overland excursions in the surrounding area Music: www.bensound.com

It may just be your style of communication, so I gotta ask... Do you know that woman doing the driving, or were you just spotting for her? Was it because she is a woman, or you treat everyone like trash you spot for if they are new? Why yell at someone, and treat them like they are stupid when they are already nervous? That was not cool dude, and it seriously made you look and sound like a real jerk. Here is the thing; if there ever comes a point in our small world that you end up spotting for me in Sand Hollow, I hope you are having a better day... Because I will not tolerate it.

Awesome videos! Good content. There aren’t many guys out there running a Willys. I have a ‘17 Willys and am curious what axle upgrades/ gears you are running with those tires. Could you do a “rig walk around”? I think we’d all like to here how she’s equipped.

Brian Crumpacker Little know fact, it’s called “slick rock” because back in the days of covered wagons the wheels were wrapped with a steel rims that slid on the rocks. Todays modern tires get amazing traction on it.
