Requiem For A Dream is just a depressing mess of a movie with no meaning or purpose to it other than to make you feel bad and low about life in general and the sad main theme there doesn't help either. Heavy Rain is uplifting, inspirational and encouraging despite its dark heavy themes and undertones. An absolute underrated masterpiece of a gem of a game. So intense. Deserves all the love. If I had to rank David Cage's titles in order it would be Heavy Rain > Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy > Detroit: Become Human > Beyond: Two Souls > Omikron: The Nomad Soul. Personal favorites all of them are excellent. But Heavy Rain & Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy are goats. 10/10 stuff. Early gaming era Cage is something else entirely.

Omikron: The Nomad Soul, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human. What an absolutely incredible gaming career. Masterpiece after masterpiece. And now he's making Star Wars: Eclipse, as if things couldn't get any better.
Beyond 2 souls was kinda mid, like story was good but as a game it lacks many things. Heavy rain was masterful tho in almost every way. From story to character to directing and atmosphere, even the gameplay had me on the edge of the seat even tho it's quick time event game.
Ethan Mars has had psychological problems since his first son died. After one of our usual sessions, I found this on the floor, it must have fell out of his pocket...
