I can't do pushups because of an injury, thanks for sharing your good idea.
for beginner Knee push ups works fine too Or the other way around: place your hands on a higher plan than you feets
Knee push-ups are more handy tho
I don't love knee pushup because people tend to lose their core engagement. Then when they get their push-ups they do more of archy worm thing to get up. This helps them feel the correct position while moving through full range of motion. I do like an incline push-up like mentioned though with hands on a higher surface than the feet.

Ummm.. I'm pretty sure that's incline push-ups your doing sweetheart..... LoL LoL.. your working your upper pectoral muscle.... Like if you were doing incline bench press.... Now if you keep your feet on the floor, then do pushups off the table, you'd be doing "decline" pushups.... LoL LoL.. but keep up the good work..

I'm curious, what does this movement train? Your traps? Delts?
These are pulls for olympic weightlifting, they build the top position if the pull. You feel it most in your glutes and hamstrings because they are what is moving the bar. The traps pull up on the bar at the end so it does work them but thats not the goal.

I can deadlift 285 at age 15, I did it a few months ago, after only being in the gym for 3 days, how about you? Also 250 is nothing, somebody humble this girl. Kevdog should auffice
Great job on the deadlift! Sounds like you could pull a lot of weight if you did that after only 3 days. There’s a big difference in a deadlift and a clean and jerk. It’s one thing to pull it off the floor, it’s a whole different game to get it up to your shoulders and then throw it over your head.
250 is indeed nothing for a deadlift, but throwing 250 over your head for a clean and jerk is quite a bit more challenging. For a guy, 250 clean and jerk would be much more impressive than a 250 bench. For women, 250 bench is probably slightly more difficult, but only slightly
