Thank you! A couple notes: the phase out period is 3 years, not 6 months and J does prohibit all CAFOs, not just large, but medium CAFOs are already not allowed in Sonoma County as discharging waste into surfaces water is already not permitted and Small CAFOs so far do not exist in the state of CA as the only way to be a small CAFO is for the EPA to label you as one because of extreme pollution and to my knowledge, there are no AFO in CA designated as Small CAFOs. Also, “family farms” can be shut down. Weber Family Farms is a family farm but also a large CAFO with 500k chickens at one location. When it comes to pollution risk, the EPA correctly doesn’t care who owns the CAFO.

Can you think of any times in your life where one decision brought you closer to a totally different life? Also, I finally thought of lyrics from the "Emptiness Machine". "I just wanted to be a part of something." Don't we all? But sometimes we give in to the "Emptiness Machine" instead and give in to what's "normal" and convenient. We're still a part of something but not something that's really meaningful to us and lights us up and energizes us. Don't sell out and give up on your dream like that and give away your power and control to outside forces like that! "Hold the wheel and drive" instead!
