There are some beautiful hikes near Villa Caletas that allow you to enjoy Costa Rica’s lush nature: The hotel itself has private nature trails where you can take in views of the rainforest and the Pacific Ocean. Carara National Park - Just a 20-minute drive from Villa Caletas or Bijagual Waterfall Hike - Located around 30 minutes away. We love Playa Mantas to Playa Blanca Trail - For a coastal hiking experience, this trail connects two beautiful beaches, Playa Mantas and Playa Blanca, about a 25-minute drive from Villa Caletas. Other beaches, like Ostional and Tortuguero, also offer amazing opportunities to see turtles nesting, and even arribadas (mass nesting events) where thousands of turtles come ashore!
