Proverbs 8:35 [35]For whoever finds me [Wisdom] finds life and draws forth and obtains favor from the Lord. This has been one of my hearts scriptures this last 2 month!
Thank you Vicki. Actually I was about to book an Airbnb to Paris to see my cousins but now I’m going to ask for wisdom about which place. Unlike Adam… I don’t always read the small print!
Good plan! We are so blessed to have access to such wisdom through prayer! Bless you Paul!
inspiring! May we yield to being hacked back, to bear much fruit
Good word. Pruning can be painful in the moment but never harmful. It produces more fruit.
Yes. It is true. I was pruned. I was convinced that I was supposed to be part of the team but faced constant rejection. That was God’s pruning. God of course is justified in His wisdom and decisions but the actions of others that we have to forgive? That’s hard work. For me it produced a harvest of righteousness as it says in Hebrews. Without that Vicki there would have been no Mozambique 🇲🇿 trip or starting up the outreach to the homeless from our church at the time. What a blessing. What a time of spiritual growth in stature for me. Pruning..
I hear you Paul, pruning is painful, but it can be very fulfilling to see the fruitfulness that ultimately results.
Hiiii it’s me Lander on my dads phone
You left out the part where you do it to indoctrinate kids before they learn critical thinking skills. To trap them in a commitment that they'll be afraid to escape later on. Have you considered cleansing that from your heart and religion?
👏🙌
Yes I feel dishonoured and not considered by most people.
I always hide my pain to avoid more rejection.
Can we tell kindly the one who hurt us that they hurt us or we feel hurt
It is sad, that the gospel is preached many places without repentance. We get alot of hypocrite christians, that want salvation but not a changed life. Repentance is so sentral in both John the baptist and Jesus preaching. Jesus tells us the parable of building on sand in Matthew 7,2-26. That is what happens to people that don't live by his word. Thank you both for your focus on this. 🥰
Very true. All come into the kingdom of God through the narrow door of repentance. To sneak into God’s kingdom and hide the ‘sin’ and not repent of it is like leaving the bin 🗑️ unemptied. It does in time create a bad atmosphere. Some justify sexual sin and feel that it is compatible with the Christian faith. I think as mature Christians we should guide those who are still young in the faith to empty that bin of ALL it’s contents. We too should set an example.
We can repent and feel like the most amazing angel all morning but there can be a trail of destruction behind us with friends and family that we have hurt in the process of sinning and repairing that damage is rarely instant. There’s no magic wand that can heal. Thus there is getting right with God and getting right with each other. If we get a grip on both these reconciliations then we will truly have a holistic understanding of what it means to repent. My last church hurt me very badly. They even said sorry but the healing of that relationship is still, ten years later, an ongoing struggle.
May God give you peace on you strugle with the church🥰
Wow I totally agree with needing to make right with those we have sinned against. This is VERY important. People certainly need to feel that their hurts have been heard, understood and that sin has been repented of before you. So Biblical!
@@Elon0212 thank you ❤that is truly appreciated.
❤
Amen! This is amazing, ❤
Well done both!! This is encouraging!
What an encouraging word! Thank you Vickie and Gracie❤
Such good words !!
I am thinking we see Jesus as we need to see him. Your vision is clearly like my cousin's family. Very Christian and expressive. My Dad's vision was knowing but only with awkward outer expression as if shy about it. My wife's parents did not have an outward expression but they were simply highly compassionate and intelligent. My vision is more of the integrated spirit that is like your skin, no distance, with a radiance in all directions. God is here now, never apart, and all is well, even if it seems otherwise. Thanks for your kind words.
