    It's really nice to sit out on your front porch under the awning while it is raining and watching it fall over the valley not having to get out in it and your horse doesn't like getting out in the rain so you just sit here drink your coffee, clean your guns and sing old cowboy songs, watch and listen to the train going through the countryside and just take it easy until it stops.     Sometimes when it’s storming so bad even these days with electricity. But when it goes out sometimes all there is to do is listen intently to the pouring rain as the storm rages on. A little shelter but still feeling that cold breeze on your skin. Droplets of water giving you a little shiver but being bundled up enough to be cozy.
