    I love what you are doing. But I do not agree with what you said that you should deliver prophesies in a way that should appease a person. That is not Biblical. Prophets Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, delivered warnings, cautions, and Prophetic judgement is the most assertive and sometimes harsh manners, rebuking and correcting openly, in order to move the people to change. In a nutshell, the Prophetic should be how the Spirit of Yeshua Directs you

    • @dandelionresourcing
      @dandelionresourcing หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your comments Lionel. Yours is quite a common - and, respectfully, I would suggest a mistaken - view. It stems from not distinguishing between the nature of New Testament prophecy and that of the Old Testament era. Since the Ascension, the Holy Spirit has been poured out on all believers, so we're all able to weigh prophetic words. This was not the case in the OT, so the response of the people of God to a prophetic word was binary: either, 'this is the Lord's word, we must obey', or 'that's a false word, and we must remove the prophet from our community before they lead us astray into sin'. There was no gray here - it was a black or white situation. In the NT era, where everyone gets to play, we can all practice hearing from God for one another. However, this can easily lead to pastoral chaos without wise parameters! Thus the Bible instructs us clearly about how to prophesy. Here are some examples: - 1 Corinthians 14:3: prophecy is given to strengthen, encourage, and comfort - 2 Corinthians 5:19: Jesus brings reconciliation, not condemnation, and calls us to do the same - "God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." - 2 Corinthians 10:8: Paul describes his leadership authority as being positive and not negative: "So even if I boast somewhat freely about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of it." (See also 13:10) - Jesus in John 14:16, 26 calls the Holy Spirit our comforter, which relates back to 1 Corinthians 14:3 (it's the same root word in NT Greek). The work of the enemy is to bring condemnation. This is usually by giving people a general feeling of guilt, shame, and unworthiness. By contrast, when the Holy Spirit brings conviction, it is always about something specific so that we can quickly repent and stand clean and ready before God. The role of prophetically gifted people is not to do the enemy's work for him!! Finally, to reiterate, saying "Thus saith the Lord" is controlling and disempowering. Jesus wants all of us to grow up, including in how we weigh the gifts. If we have a prophetic word for someone, we offer it with humility and generosity, inviting them to weigh and process it for themselves, and with those they trust (if it's a weightier word). If your prophetic word is from the Lord, it doesn't need you to hype it up. In the NT era, none of us use our gifts with 100% perfection! Thus we must always communicate humility and openness to correction. If this was not the case. Paul would not have taught us about prophetic words being weighed (e.g. 1 Corinthians 14:29, "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.") Hope this helps!

    • @lionelbatuoegbe4104
      @lionelbatuoegbe4104 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @dandelionresourcing In the New Testament, Prophecy was given to warn. An example was when Apostle Paul was approached by a Prophet who used his belt to warn Paul what will happen to him if he decides to travel to Rome. There was no encouragement in the Prophet's words. In a nutshell, when we study GOD's Word, we discover that when wickedness prevails in any society, Words of Prophecy that mostly Come from GOD Almighty, Jesus Christ Are mostly filled warnings of a coming judgement, so that people can repent and turn from their wicked ways. Such is the case in this end times: So much wickedness has prevailed in the world - as prophesied in GOD'S Word, to the extent that many in the Church are turning to the world. As such, Prophetic words of encouragement only will hardly get such people to repent and return to the LORD. Prophetic words of warnings of coming judgement are necessary to instill fear of the LORD and genuine repentance. I speak from experience as a Prophet of GOD Almighty, Jesus Christ: There are times He Gives me Prophetic Words of warning to give to people and doesn't permit me to water down the message. Sometimes, He gives encouragement, while other times, He Gives warning, then followed by encouragement. Also, it is very wrong to tell people not to say; "Thus saith the LORD", when delivering a direct message from the LORD Jesus Christ. Here is why... From the ministry of Isaiah, every carrier of GOD'S Prophetic Word MUST LEARN to get people when they are talking of themselves and when they are delivering a direct message from the LORD, word verbatim. And the only way to make that distinction is by using phrases like; "Thus Saith the LORD"

    It is actually little surprise to me that Holy Communion is a powerful weapon against spiritual warfare because I am convinced that the bread and wine is Jesus' actual body and blood. I can't get around Jesus saying "this is my body...this is my blood." Throughout the Gospels, the demons panic and try to escape whenever Jesus is near. When we take the eternally-living Jesus within us by eating his body and drinking his blood, I can see why demons would back off. You often post thoughtful, practical videos and I thank you both for that.

    Good stuff!!! Who does God want me to reach? Who are my neighbors? Co-Workers? Kids' school? Principle of the white field? Where are the fields white unto harvest? - John 4 Where is the lowest hanging fruit? Who would you like to see reached at this time? "If we do evangelism right, it builds relationships." "In the absence of a specific word from the Lord, look for the relational openness." "Obviously prayer is a big part of this." Ask God who. Let the Lord make it obvious. Next step: Pray about who it is we are called to reach in this season. Have conversations with spouse, friends, and partners on mission. Think and pray together who it would be fun to reach.

    Alex and Hannah wonder if you could speak fear that causes one to not venture to what is unknow. Beautiful prayer Hannah could feel the heavness of God's presence that just opens up the mouth to speak and worship .

    • @dandelionresourcing
      @dandelionresourcing 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think the sort of fear that causes us not to venture is something that oftentimes is a result of spiritual warfare. If we're aware of this, it's good to confess this to another believer and together to pray out the fear and pray in the opposite (probably something like loving boldness). Then be accountable to that person for how you move forward in the days and weeks ahead. Hope this helps Norene!

    Thanks for this one! The illustration about the potential accident and leading with Romans 8 for this topic were very helpful for me. I normally think of that passage as times when I am overwhelmed with emotion and am not sure what to say (which I still think is true), but tying it in as a potential application of tongues makes sense. Also, the "worst case scenario" was very helpful. While that passage in 1 Corinthians 14 seems to say that a sensible word of prophecy is better for the church, and rightfully so, the potential for making up words to worship Jesus (as the worst case scenario) is a gospel-reminder to me. Even my most sensible words are akin to childish babbling and cooing when compared to the Holy Creator-King, and He nevertheless loves me so much. I was that way towards my own children, so how much more would my Heavenly Father be so towards me? So I am free to make something up. Perhaps a mash-up of "sing a new song" and "make a joyful noise?" lol

    Thank you both for these quick description videos! The way you phrased it ("motivating spirits" and "source code") were helpful in understanding. If the Spirit is all about lighting up the dark places in His people, then it would make sense for that light to be reflected/refracted through us. (assuming there is nothing "opaque" in our lives that would obstruct His light.) What do you think of the difference between the gift as it is mentioned in 1 Cor 12:10, and the general command you mentioned in 1 John 4:1-6? Is there a difference? I've assumed that the former was miraculously given insight and the latter is deduced or tested based upon our experience as God's children and the power of the Holy Spirit in all God's family. Could you shed some light on that for me? (Pun is absolutely intended. lol)

    • @dandelionresourcing
      @dandelionresourcing 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Asa, I like your light analogy! Regarding the two texts, I'd suggest that as we mature in Christ, it often becomes harder to distinguish between the unction of the Spirit and what is godly Spirit-filled transformed living. There will be moments when we think, "wow, that was the Holy Spirit!", alongside moments where we process life through discernment and that seems more everyday. Both are functions of the Spirit at work in us, and both are to become more 'normal' in us as we mature in Christ.

    That's this work in a western context without becoming legalistic and in the long term does it really produce multiplication? My concern is that there is no Presence of God, and its very bad interpret the passages because of wrong theological backgrounds in a context of christians and catholics. The times when I tried we failed and people complained kindly, so I decided to go back to preach the gospel and teach others to do the same and the fruit has been better and the Holy Spirit moves with healings, deliverance, etc. I want to see an alternative way of doing the same

      Hi Oscar, Yes, this does indeed work without becoming legalistic. Of course, people can misuse it, but that doesn't invalidate the tool. Our experience is that it's very focused on the presence of God, since the emphasis is on hearing what Jesus is saying to you. We've used this with lost friends and led them to the Lord as a direct result!

    Thank you for sharing this simple way of taking on spiritual warfare from an offensive posture! It has promoted me to think of Scripture memorization so that I am ready for the battle in times of peace.

      I love that action step Lonnie. A friend strongly encouraged me to ask the Lord for some specific Scriptures to stand on in this time, and that has been enormously helpful. One thing I'm doing is mediating on one while in the radiation lab!

    Hi Alex, thank you for all that you do. I believe there's more to be done and to that end the Lord will preserve you- This is my confession, the power of God is at work in you, its effecting a healing and bringing about a cure. I pray your heart is preserved, your faith is kept, your gaze is on Jehovah Rapha. And finally, kindly permit to suggest something I always tell friends trusting God for supernatural healing (I do) - look for testimonies of people who were supernaturally healed from the same diagnosis or something similar and keep it before your eyes day in day out. God bless you Dandelion resources -love you, from Nigeria.

    Thanks so much for your testimony! We will join you in prayer. My wife and I experienced cancer as well. By the. grace of God, we are cancer free. In addition, our daughter is starting as a nursing intern at MD Anderson a cancer treatment center so I found this helpful to share with them both from personal experience as a family of cancer survivor and vocation.
