Discovering Aaron Sorkin: A Few Good Men Movie Review
Pruitt Taylor Vince can play a nice, thoughtful man extremely well. I think he could make an excellent father figure to Clark.
We don't know that Lois is looking at Clark (the magic of the cutting room). We know that Rachel Brosnham talked to real print journalists to inform her portrayal of Lois Lane.
I found out after the fact that this isn't an original story, so there is a good chance they are already together.
SO ready for the birth of this DCU! And if Gunn's pulling from the comics, the magical and melding of worlds is a high possibility (i.e. Matt Reeves The Batman). Gunn and Reeves are fantastic Creatives and this can work down the road. But for now, I've all the faith Superman is going to sweep the global movie goers.💙
I truly hope you're right.
I've watched a dozen or more of these reactions. And I have not heard anybody else mentioned. The orb in the background looks exactly like the sphere at the end of the flash movie where when he's running through time, it shows all the alternate realities, Batman Superman, I don't think that's something that's attacking the city, I think that's flash.
Interesting. A friend was saying he thinks it might be a Boom tube and it's not attacking the city, but it is a portal to somewhere and the reason he's going slow and talking to lots is because he thinks it's a1 way trip. We will have to see
Good stuff. Love Krypto, love the scene of him saving the girl, and the little boy calling his name. Iconic Superman there. For Lois I got the sense that she looked at him like who's the new guy, rather than any interest.
Apparently, this is like 10 years in and not an origin story, so they're already in love, and she knows. I didn't know that while reacting, but the look makes more sense now.
I got a bit emotional when the kid looks up and calls for superman 😭
1933: Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster create Superman. 1938: Superman's first comic is published. 1978: Superman's first movie is premiered. 2025: Superman's comeback to his roots will amaze the world. And all we will look up. Looking for Superman. Looking for hope.
I'VE WATCHED over 3 dozen "reaction" videos, everyone's asking who is Superman fighting, but no one has mentioned/noticed that in the opening scene, Superman is laying in the center of a huge hand print.....
I'll admit, I had to go back and check. If it is a hand print, it's nice and subtle. I thought it was just the force from the impact in the snow, but it does look like a hand now that I'm looking for it
Nope. All you have to do is look carefully BEFORE he falls..I thought the same thing, but he slams into a featureless plain..
@@MongoolisMovieShow one thing I finally got after a lot of viewings was he only uses energy to spit blood out because he needs to clear his mouth to whistle..and I’m liking the slightly smaller dog instead of a giant barrel chested white Shepherd for a few reasons..one is that ppl run out and buy whatever they see in movies, and overbreeding of shepherds is already a problem. The other is that the size of the dog makes no difference, and leaves a lot more comic opportunities as well. Superman is “catching” her head because she’s already experienced the explosion and her head is tipping forward, so he’s reaching forward and slowing it down to stop injury.
That was Jonathan with Clark by the house
Ya, I think i said Pa Kent. Same guy
Dudes the movie is a classic as far as sequels go. Perfect? No. But no film really is. All those minute criticisms is being knit picky to me.
I mean, you're right, but that's because there aren't any really big criticisms to make. When it's this good the only negatives are small.
This might sound like strange question, but who cares it's christmas. If you eat fruit cake is it warmed with butter on top or straight from the refirigerator? As to Home Alone I look at these as kids movies and was too old to care for them, but I remember my nieces and nephews enjoying them. If I remember right they watched the second one the most and the rest seemed to be movies to not be named.
I'm not sure if understand the first part. Are you asking why do we care about christmas? Or why do we care if home alone is a Christmas movie or not? If the first one, I would say it's because we are all parents of young children and its a special time of year. (I didn't ask will or Brian about that, I'm just guessing what they would say) If its the second part, I think it was more of a conversation starter than anything else. As for the movies themselves, Brian and I are like 1 year younger than Macaulay culinary and so these hit at the exact right age for us and now hold some level of nostalgia. That said, I completely understand that they aren't for everyone.
@@MongoolisMovieShow Sorry about confusion, it's about the fruitcake question.
Yeah, I can agree with this, most of the tone for alien 3 was just so damn bad
Lol when what you think holds a stronger influence in your interpretation than the thing you are actually watching. To equate pregnancy with a xenomorph breaking through your ribcage from the inside and popping off your chest is wild. You watched that scene and thought: "Oh my god, that man was pregnant for a minute! This is terrifying"
Also 28 Days Later was great because Danny Boyle directed it and Alex Garland wrote it. Neither of the two were involved with 28 Weeks Later (other than Danny Boyle directing the opening scene of 28 Weeks Later and then handing it over to a different director). They both came back for 28 Years Later which will be a trilogy, and Alex Garland is writing them all. Cillian Murphy will also appear in the entire trilogy... a cameo in the first film and a lead role in the other two. That emaciated zombie in the trailer is not Cillian Murphy but a model named Angus Neill.
So that really tall infected is actually legitimately tall. The actor is 6'9". As for the infected being more intelligent, I think that will be the case, yes. There's a new poster released with the text, "In 28 days it began, in 28 weeks it spread, in 28 years it evolved."
The public learned quite a lot from Covid. Viruses evolve usually to become more mild so that the host doesn't die before replicating, and this allows it to survive. The theory of evolution and survival of the fittest applies to viruses too, so it makes sense that this virus would have evolved over 28 years to become more sustainable. What this looks like in the movie will be interesting to see. Starvation of the host was the main issue, so it should be natural evolution that the infected are staying alive by eating. This is why I believe we're probably looking at a cannibalistic element to 28YL.
i think the thing hanging upside down is a person turned purposfully by the Jimmy group members.
Yeh if my parents were zombies id get emancipated to 😂🤭
I felt sooo dumb when I realized what I had said. And three times no less...
Ray Fiennes debuting as...Khorne?
Saw 28 weeks in the cinema when it came out absolutely hated it, too much nonsense.
I'm curious to watch it again, but I don't have high hopes.
@MongoolisMovieShow first scene is epic then it just gets more and more stupid.
Best trailer I've seen in a long time. Personally I didn't mind 28weeks later too much. I know it was a let down for a lot of people and for good reason. But the opening was perfection imo. Pity they couldn't carry it on after that. But this one looks like a banger. Can't wait.
The description says Alien 3, but from the description and the picture I believe you are talking about Alien: resurrection. The fourth movie.
Alien 3 is the one where Ripley's safety pod crash lands on the prison planet and depending on which version you watch the xenomorph comes from a dog or a cow
I hope this info helps. Also I totally felt sympathy especially when you can tell it felt a connection to sygorny Weavers character and she felt a connection too.
You are 100% correct and I changed it. Thank you!
Looking at this series of individual films as a "franchise" (as one might look at Harry Potter, or series based on another preexisting idea) is wrong. They were just some movies.
It’s a really great trailer, also loved that there was no info dumps that tell you the entire story, more trailers should follow this example
I completely agree.
Reminds me of space balls. 😂
I believe Will would take that as a compliment
I always looked as the marines as a group of mercenaries that were brought together to make a quick run and gun team. They had no unit cohesion and were feeling each other out to see how they fit together, which always explained to me why they had such a hard time reacting to the situation nad realizing the problems they had to face the difficulties. I always thought the 'company' knew there was something out there just not what it was. All the movies after this one including the latest are just disappointments. Kids are less is best in movies and are fine if used to give meaning to movie but not if used a plot device to force actions.
I would agree with the company to some extent. Burk clearly knows about something, but the jury didn't seem to know anything about it. As for the follow up movies, I'll have to let you know in January, but I'm excited for them anyways. Romulus in particular looks great (no spoilers please).
@@MongoolisMovieShow I try not to let out spoilers, everyone should have the right to enjoy movies as they are.
@matthewwilliams-kg4hx i appreciate that
Wait, how did I miss this stream?😂
It's every Thursday night at 9pm est
@MongoolisMovieShow ok sounds good
Finally shedding some light on the most action packed Christmas movie 😎
Loved the first one, liked the sequel. Did not care for the sequels. The reason how aliens were created took away so much of the mystery and purpose of an unknown being.
Totally fair, totally fair.
In fairness, it was fair. Totally.
Your enthusiasm in seeing Storm was priceless 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😎
It could have been almost any Xman, but storm holding Mjolnir? YES PLEASE!
@@MongoolisMovieShow😂😂😂😎
The peep hole into the hallway scene was great!
Visually, it's great.
One of the best retro movies ever! It even got a TV series after twenty years.
So pumped for Storm’s MCU debut! ⚡️👏🏾🥹
Right!?! It looks so good
Fair enough.
What sorcery is this? Where's your real name? Who the fuck is Brian Wilson?
Still haven’t seen this franchise but love the three of you 😊
2 of the 3 of us are Awesome. I'll let you figure out who
I think that Sam Raimi is overhyped as a horror director because of the first Evil Dead movie. The 2nd and 3rd of the series evolved more into comedy, and when you compare Raimi to Carpenter you can tell who did horror and who left the genre. The Evil Dead series starts to sputter about halfway through the season. Bruce Campbell never really seemed to break out of being a b movie actor. I thought he did a good job in Maniac Cop and some other roles and too bad he never got the big chance.
Story telling with less words and more imagery is my favorite. Its why I love Blade Runner so much. That said I really like a lot of the imagery portrayed in the What If series.
I definitely agree with that from a "show don't tell" stand point, butbtheres nothing I like more than a lot of smart dialog.
Saw all three in theaters. The third one as I remember was a better theater experience then the other two compared to watching on video with all it had going on. The first one I appreciated more for being more structured as a horror movie. The second seemed more of a comedic remake of the first not an actual continuation of the first. The third was just them completely going camp making the movie and all aspects of horror are gone.
The edited version of our Army of Darkness episode should be out tomorrow if you're interested.
Preyyyyy let’s gooo I loved this movie. the flint lock pistol was a great nod to the second movie, but it totally retconned the comic
Did you catch this one live? If not I hope you enjoy it now.
@@MongoolisMovieShow I think I caught a bit of it
Love the sweater Dan
Thanks bud!
How do y'all not have more subs?
We've all streamed separately for years, but this channel is still fairly new. Thanks for the kind words though, and please help get the word out!
@@MongoolisMovieShow ahh that makes sense. Well keep up the amazing work!! I'll spread the word
@colladius1610 you're the best!
predators deserved a number 2
I would have watched that!
Two things: 1. When I see Adrien Brody, I already KNOW we're scraping the barrel of any franchise. 2. What's Tim Pool doing in the middle there reviewing movie franchises? 😃
Predators was a good movie, machete died a little early but it was great
I ended up liking it more than I thought I would, but there are better predator movies
Finally! Gonna share this with everyone!
Please do! I would love this video/series to grow!
Wewt
Thats cool! The family dynamics in the Spiderverse movies are fantastic!
