2019 CRF450L FMF 4.1 exhaust street ride
มุมมอง 7K5 ปีที่แล้ว
CRF450R fmf 4.1 full exhaust, 450R air box and plastics. No tune or ecu. Bike has around 50 miles. Around 60 degrees outside and elevation at sea level.
Hello. You were saying that the plastics shroud were from the 450 RX?
Yes
Dam boi you beat that exhaust pipe like it owed you money!!
Choke ?
Weight?
Damn kinda surprised someone in Rio Linda - north highlands owns a crf450L still haven’t seen one on the street😂😂😂😂😂
Haha yeah there isn’t anyone yet, I was just passing through lol I don’t live there
I'd rather buy a CRF450R and put lights on it 👍
Sure would like to hear a flyby or see some off-road action.
CANT HEAR $HIT!!!
does the hydraulic clutch fit without modification? is it worth the cost?
Yes it works, I haven’t really ridden the bike since I haven’t got the ecu yet. Is it worth it? A cable clutch works, sure, but I don’t like to adjust it and like the simplicity of the hydraulic. Install and forget it’s there
FUCK stickers and graphics
Was there a significant difference in sound with the FMF installed?
I don’t have a meter to check but yes it is. I ended up also installing the fmf quiet core insert with some baffling. I haven’t ridden the bike in a while since I don’t have the tuner yet and the weather has been pretty bad but I’ll make a video in a little
Benaychenko the fmf quiet core made it more quiet?
Was there a significant difference in sound with the FMF installed?
There is a side walk and he waits for cars to pass on a dirtbike i swear you white nerds dont need to have a dirtbike get a scooter
Are you using a efi controller for this bike? It runs lean to begin with.. I just ordered a yoshi complete system with a JD tuner for mine
Hey not yet I have the vortex ordered
Why the ugly dent on the exhaust header to clear the frame?
That is what you call hot rodding..!
Sweet ride, Boss. Tip for future video: I'm no camera / video expert at all, but I've got two action cameras. My cameras are Garmin Virb XE's, first action cameras I've ever owned, intrinsic weatherproof form factor being the big attraction for me (I.e. no separate external weatherproof case). Bought the Virb XE's in 2016 and of course the camera tech has been advancing steadily since then. I hardwire powered both cameras via some 12V - 5V supplies, as the Virb XE batteries seem to only be good for maybe 30 minutes or so. There again, the form factor is cool, as the power connection is push pins on a cable connector, snapped up against external gold contact points on the camera's case, again, intrinsically weatherproof. Anyway, using RAM Mounts, I set one camera facing rearward, and, unintentional dumb luck, the rear camera happened to be in a nice little air pocket created by the saddle bags along with the duffle bags across the seat, that I have when I'm in long tour mode. The rear camera is WiFi "slaved" to the front camera, and they can be turned on & off together, in my case with a tablet, but I suppose that could be also done with a phone. Result: You get some great video at times, looking rearwards, and it creates a rear view mirror like camera running on the tablet which is addictive, albeit it has about a one second delay ... but, most importantly in my opinion, you get fantastic exhaust note recording, which, when paired with the front facing video during editing, makes the ride scenes infinitely more enjoyable. Anyhow, enjoyed your two 450L videos so far. Looking forward to more U2oob content ... and will also have a look at your forum posts. Thanks.
Just picked mine up last Friday !!!
Congrats
For information the exhaust is a full 4.1 rct. Stock ecu with no tune or piggyback. I have another video explaining my build
I like your hand guard / mirror set up. What did you do for the front turn signals? Also please update us once you get the new ecm
The front turn signsls are led 6” strips that stick to the hand guards. I haven’t had time to make videos to go in depth in what I’ve done
what fmf muffler model ?
Its impossible doing all that deleted stuff.....and being not lean
What year bike was the exhaust originally for ?
Just get a Yoshimura pipe and slip for a 2017-19 450X. It will fit perfect no adjustment needed. You will probably want to get an aftermarket ecu with it as well. These bikes are run so lean from factory that it almost makes them annoying to ride. Vortex ecu is without a doubt the best option but it's also the most expensive, and I mean EXPENSIVE ($700 to be exact). DynoJet makes an ecu that has great reviews and is the one I'm going to get. It's $350 so a drastic price drop with almost the same performance as the vortex.
your voice is too low due to ur background noice
Did you do any fuel mods or slip on and go?
. ' . Good video. pretty crf / L.
Was this FMF 4.1 the one made for the CRF450R 2019 model? Does it bolt right on the CRF450L?
Yes
Are you running the stock ECU?
Yuuup stock ecu. Vortex came out with an ecu for the 450l i just ordered it.
Fender eliminator kit?
Hey no it was an aftermarket one i installed. I have a link in the description. If anything i can make a video of the mods did so people get a better idea
@@BenZaychenko Make a mods video...
Haha yeah i figured. Ill have to make a video. Should i make an individual video per mod or
@@BenZaychenko Make one big mod video..
What’s the name of those Accerbis Covers that you have on the frame and for what 450 model are they? The look sweet. I’ll like to get a set. Never seen those before.
Hey its part number 2630711035. If anything check out the link in the description to the forums, i go into more detail on what i did.
How would you compare this to a 650L? I’m thinking about trading mine for the 450L.
Ive never ridden a 650l, but have had a 2004 xr250 and 2013 crf450r. I liked that the xr had a 6 speed and had a nice low crawl gear. I would say the L is like a modern xr250. The power and bells and whistles of a 450r, and easy rideability as an xr250.
i think you would like it. Just wait for the price to drop a little, and even get a traded in bike - you'd get a steal
day to a night.. I traded my 2007 xr650l for 450L , 450l its a rocket
I’m thinking of trading in my 2012 XR650L, but feel I will miss all the low speed torque and easy maintenance. Valve adjustments are much more complicated on the new 450L. Not that it needs adjustment every 1800, but to check is a pain and you will lose riding time. Wish they kept the valve system. Let me know your thoughts.
I think a better comparison as far as power goes is to compare to an xr650r
Look amazing what kind of seat is that is it a little more comfortable and sorry did here what exhaust it was
Its an acerbis x seat. I never rode it on the stock seat but i dont have a problem with the comfort on this one. The exhaust is an fmf 4.1. Part # 041561
@@BenZaychenko I'm looking for FMF pipe for the 450L but I don't want the bike to run lean.. So I'll wait until FMF comes out with a actually pipe designed for this bike.
When i bought the bike i ordered an fmf for the 450x.. it was over 400$ for the slip on muffler. I called them in beginning of january to cancel the order and they said they were almost done with an L exhaust so it should be out. Regardless vortex finally came out with an ecu for the L it should be shipped out here in a little bit.
