Great ❤
No interviews with Elders from the Ewamian Nation,. Rungulla is rich in Aboriginal cultural heritage. It was a great trip.
Hi Gerry, thank you for your comment. In the preparation of this video, Traditional Owners and Elders were not interviewed, which is an oversight on our part. Later on during the expedition, we aimed to centre Aboriginal voices and experiences for the researchers and teachers. The Bush Blitz team will endeavour to include Elder voices and interviews in videos going forward. Thank you for being such an incredible part of the Bush Blitz experience and for pushing us to do better.
I know that professor from High School.... Professor David "Duck" Cantrill. His walk and stance haven't changed at all. :)
Hey hello. thanks for this great video. This one is 9 years old. Is it time for a reprisal with Jock and Dr Duke?
Australia keeps spraying Monsanto/Bayer's Roundup everywhere. Nearly every council in Australia uses the herbicide even though they can use steam to get rid of weeds. It's been proven to hurt bee health. More pressure needs to be put on councils. www.aihs.org.au/news-and-publications/news/local-councils-phasing-out-glyphosate-over-health-concerns-and-legal
Super interested in a collab if you are? 👋
This is a very interesting and informative video. The research being done by this AIMS team is vital for the understanding why coral is declining. I've never heard of Black Coral Disease before but the research shows that it's causing serious destruction of the corals. With research such as this, it gives us hope that with understanding and knowledge, 'man' can do something to protect the waters and corals for the future. Earthwatch do a great job putting volunteers with researches together and I hope AIMS get the support and funding it needs to continue their vital work.
Sad situation which will only get worse if we dont act to reduce waste products. We need to invest in products that degrade in the environment to help stop this problem!
I dont get it- how does the packaging outlast the product by years??- would not manufacturers invest more into creating packaging that is product suitable
I lived there. Miss the jungle now that I am back in the City!
I'm lucky to work there every day.
