what types of jigs do you recommend to use in changi waters?
The type of jigs depends on many factors. The water depth, the current, the type of fish you are targeting. For e.g. for diamond trevallies, smaller jigs will be more effective. That is a black tip shark, small and usually timid around swimmer. It's even put in touch zone for visitors in several sea aquarium.

Nice.. But what type should i use if i only fishing at jetty ?
You can also use the same methods, it is just that the bites will be much lower compared to on a boat as you are only fixed at one spot while boats can travel around. More active fishing rather than passive.

Got myself a new setup but I'm lost about jigging leaders - should I just do a Braid-FC joint by FG knot then a snap swivel to the jig?
Welcome to this jigging hobby, there are a few ways to do it depending on what kind of jigging you are into. Do you need to cast or just drop-down, etc? You can come on board and we can show to you. Experiencing it is better than a thousand words
