It would've been good to see retired Rear Admiral Thomas Boone on an episode of the reboot of Hawaii Five-0 and to see the look on Steve McGarrett's face. meeting the man who is a doppelganger of his ex-Navy SEAL instructor, Joe White, who was also his father figure, and to see his Five-0 team's reaction as well.
FUN FACT: The late Sorrell Booke actually was a Korean War vet who worked in counter intelligence for the Army.. His job was to decipher intercepted enemy messages as he was fluent in several languages. Booke had also worked with Alan Alda before.
When did people ever get the idea that pointing their camera at their TV was a valid way to get video clips?
Quite a fitting way for RADM Boone to retire a second time, to pin a friend and colleague's wings of gold onto the uniform of a new naval aviator!
This is exactly the episode I was looking for. “An Angel just got his wings.” 🥲 Thank You. 🫡
I ❤ rhe earlier episodes of MASH.....col. Blake .... trapper ....frank burns.... Hawkeye ..& klinger.. Episode's " chief surgeon, who". 1 of the most hilarious! When ive had a very....busy ... stressful day ... Watching early episodes of MASH..... really relieves the stress!!! 😆😆😁😁🤣🤣! Good ...clean.... Decent comedy!! Also ...the Jefferson..... Barney Miller.... Welcome back, kotter .. family ties! Good ... Decent..... Morale...... Classic....clean show's!!!
Makes me cry like a big baby every time after I stop wondering how he popped up out of nowhere without a coat in the freezing cold lol
Второй сезон, серию не помню
Sorel Booke played the part just right.
FUN FACT: Sorrell Booke actually served in Army Intelligence during the Korean War. His job was to decipher intercepted enemy messages as he was fluent in several languages.
5 i believe. theres a couple of funny versions of his talents from his days on dukes. apparently andy robinson (who did a guest spot) also spoke either japanese or chinese (i forgot which.) one day while waiting for a shot to get set up or out of boredom him and sorrell are runinng lines and rick hurst goes over to see what's up and finds them doing it in japanese or chinese which ever it was. eventually everyone caught on and they ran the scene and when they paused cletus would jump in in english. Too bad that didn't make a tape. would have been hilarious i'm sure. another story is at least during some episodes it was an open set. well one day there's a tour group (again japanese or chinese i'm not sure) and sorrell after doing his part for the scene goes over to greet them. John schneider wanders over either after his part in scene or after the scene is done and goes to greet them and as he approaches "hears boss jabbering a mile a minute and as i get closer realize he's actually speaking (their language)! according to john the group stayed on set most of the day and sorrell helped translate the whole day when not in shots and good time was had by all.
@@billcary30 Very interesting story,....thank you.
ahh Klinger put on dress or something
Klinger had better listen to Hawkeye on this one!!!
What’s wrong with their voices.? This doesn’t sound right.
They should have used him (Boss Hogg) more in M*A*S*H
Something that has not been mentioned in the comments at all: That's Boss Hog Hey, I work retail, I'm in a mood.
That is Boss Jefferson Davis Hogg playing Bradley Barker.
Holy shit, I never noticed that ! . Fantastic
@@rolandet - Maybe because Boss {and his twin brother Abraham Lincoln Hogg} never had a mustache
Gen. Barker also happened to be a doctor, though a little rusty, but helped Hawkeye operate on his patient, whom had to follow proper procedure because prior to surgery, the patient had to complete a blood transfusion, before surgery, making it safe to operate, which they do, successfully. BTW, Sorrell Booke was a native of Buffalo, N.Y.!!!
At least a slip
You tell them Boss Hog!!
1 of my favorites! Especially when he goes "good touch" LMAO 🤣
2 сезон серия 12
Actually it's episode 4
It was Season 1 when Ugly John was still on the cast!
Klinger was only supposed to be in this ep
Yeah but they like him
Burns was a total spaz.
Showed how good an actor Larry Linville was to make a hate-sink _that_ memorable.
Not sure a slip would hide what Klinger's got. :)
Only just noticed. His medals and ribbons are on the wrong side. They ar worn on the right
That is because the image had to have been flipped when it was put on TH-cam.
@@timnew7662 individual medals are worn on the left, unit citations, medals on the right
LOL Burns can be a pain in tush.
Thank you for everything Jennifer! Here’s a little something for you: th-cam.com/video/qDeVxNat4Hs/w-d-xo.html
Sorrell Booke (a.k.a. "Boss Hogg")
I expected to see Roscoe as his aid
Didn't recognize him
say hello from Roscoe......I WILL NOT!
Omg. That’s Boss Hogg? I never made the connection!
Booke was a Korean War vet in real life. He worked in counter intelligence deciphering intercepted enemy messages as he was fluent in several languages.
with full pack- great touch
Now this is an awesome side of retired admiral Thomas Boone no one gets to see hardly and an awesome side of Harmon rabb Jr also this is the united states navy at it's finest hour
Love this episode.
What a sweet episode like the young Lt. being given his wings by his father and elder brother so very warm.
