Oh, Bob Moog invented the ondes martenot now? :D
Question. What theremin brand is that?
🚓
A REAL RCA!!! With a original speaker!!! Yay! Finally, after so many years, we are able to recreate the „Clara-Sound“ (this specific-wave form) with the Claravox, even it created digital in this machine. NONE of the others, and i have a lot of them, had THIS sound. Even the praised Etherwave Pro is not able to have THIS SOUND!!! My favorite.😍🤩🥰
Great performance! One thing though: Having the last name "Sussman" in 2017 must have sucked
I read somewhere that Lydia Kavina played the sound track for the movie. That's the most interesting looking theremin I've ever seen! Could it be a Moog Etherwave in a fancy alien plastic shell?
Eric the ridiculous midget
Wait! is Mr. Sussman making any oral sounds that are captured within the soundwaves of the Theramin? I loved Danny Elfman's band, Oingo Boingo - Nasty Habits being my favorite song - it is worth a listen. Years ago, I had friends who were renting a house in Silverlake and a brother of Danny Elfman's rented a room in the upstairs and I saw a keyboard, but he was never there when I was there so I didn't get to meet him and tell him how talented his brother is. LOL. The guys said he was really nice and wasn't around a lot, but they did like him. The house was owned by Linda Alvarez' father - she was a newscaster/journalist on the TV news in Los Angeles and she would do a story, and end by saying "This is LINDA ALVAREZ" with a very pronounced Spanish/Mexican? accent. I liked her, I just thought it was funny and wondered if she did a story on me if she would please pronounce my name with a thick Scottish accent. lol. I wonder if there is any connection via Kevin Bacon between myself and Danny Elfman or his brother?
This is The sole reason I want one
Terrible presentation man...
You can tell by the music, when Gort the robot was moving. Creeeeeeepy!!😊
😍😍😍😍😍
Amazing video, gave us some good vibrations :)
His voice reminds me a little of the theremin. (Only extremely more pitch accurate and without the sliding) It's an electronic instrument that is played without direct contact ... sounds a bit alien in nature.
Brian Wilson was always looking for new sounds.
Wow so living things are kind of robots because we have electrical signals running through our own bodies now that is nuts
No explanation at all is better than those pseudo explanations.
That honestly does not explain how theremin works at all...
Ack Ack!
There's a Columbo mystery show on tv and this music wand played by this. Music wand. Theme song to this show. Loved it. Debbie Dobson indpls ind. Watch it with my dad.

Awesome stuff
A terrible teacher explaining a braindead simple process with bloated words to make himself sound smarter.
KudaBear, just wondering... How would you explain the operating principles of the Theremin?
@@douglas_drew There is a short explanation on this page from simonkormenndy849. But if you are genuinely interested (which I doubt) you can find tons of clear and real explanation with the help of Google.
Not only bloeated words, but 50% of what he said is either inaccurate or plain BS.
This was just a question on The Chase. I knew it from Good Vibrations.

Bernard Herrmann won just one Academy Award, for a relatively little-known film called "The Devil and Daniel Webster" (1941). That same year he scored, and was nominated for, another little-know film called "Citizen Kane".
The ROLI Seablock
I want one
its a Tannerin tho .
Sounds Like a Woman's Voice. Please Try Star Trek's Theme...The Origins Series!!! 🙏❤😃🎼🎵🎶
I had no idea that was created by a theremin 😊
Still think of a smartwatch/other wearable theremin One where you (can): -Bend your wrist to select the pitch and volume -Pinch your index finger and thumb to play the note -Pinch your pinky and ring fingers to sustain it -Bend your middle finger to control the pitch and modulation of your chord I don't remember hearing these ideas from someone else But I still think it would be interesting, even if such a thing doesn't already exist Saturday, December 30, 2023 CE, 19:39 EST

God I loved that movie.ita a master piece..
That was as clear as mud to me. I’m a slow learner but this to me just showed me how they made air raid sirens during WW2. 🤔😬
Don't bother learning it from this video: it's far from accurate.
Loki soundtrack brought me here. ❤
Love it. Amazing!
An instrument for the hypochondriac.
I just received a postcard dated 1955, it is postmarked "Metaluna" and autographed with the strangest lipstick kiss I've ever seen. Sheriff Bart, in the persona of "Cleavon Little" delivered it in "Candygram" format, and told me to inform you that you owe Mel Brooks $25.18 or he'll send 'Western Union's very best thugs after you." He also sends a most heartful meshugganah! The text reads as follows: |BEGIN| "Dear Mr. S, I hope this finds you well |stop| I want my Interocitor back, DAMMIT |stop| you have until Mercury transits at perihelion to deliver it |stop| Don't use FedEx |stop| They suck |stop| Gort is on earth and working at his food truck as we speak | stop| I will not hesitate to 'Sic 'em' on you |stop| |Signed| Love, Exeter PS FYI, Gort's kinda 'pissy' that 'Burned Out Cinder' indigestion thing (still) |END|
Nicely done! I'd like to know if it's a theremin in Journey to the far side of the Sun.
Thank you Dan for another cool bit of music trivia.
*Mais ou menos!*
Ohmygod 1 minute in and I'm already bored 2 fucking tears.
This evoked images of Altair IV. Very nice.
Ben 10 vibes over here
Why not use this for tracking? For like full body tracking
Because there are better ways to do it.
Edward Sussman looks like buster Keaton !
how does this work AMAZING!
WTH! thats cool!
Shut up dork
