There oughta be a law...lol,. This kind of technique is way beyond human capacity but somehow Michael Brecker achieved the impossible. Great work on the transcription, talk about a musical blur.

i can't tell if you're a jazz nerd or you're trying to hate.... well if it's the latter then I hate to break it to you, but "disgusting" in jazz means intensely groovy and dirty... which is a great thing, so I suppose you shot yourself in the foot
Fantastic transcription.
Imagine being so immensely talented that you could literally toy around with a solo and let your imagination fill in the sonic blanks with anything you envision...in any key and at any speed. Simply astonishing.
it's not talent, it's hours and hours of practice

Joe really managed to sound better then others on just about everything he was on, leader or sideman. Frankly, I just think he's a HIPPER musician. Maybe not as harmonically daring as some others, not as technically capable of all things sonic on the sax...and yet, still the most entertaining and inspiring.
