Thank you for this detailed video. Most "beginner" tutorials go very quickly, include way too many buttons and assume that you already know things about editing. This was helpful! BTW, I believe the thing you called the selector is called a "play head." But I like selector better! :)

I'm fairly tech-savvy but I just found that everyone else went so quickly in their explanations and acted like I should already know what video editing was like and what the tools were for. I really appreciate the slow and easy pace you did this in. I was really able to understand so much better in real time. THANK YOU!

How do I find episode 4 on Capcut and subsequent videos? A search does not bring anything up.

Is the following an alternative? Can I download the Capcut app to my phone as well as to my laptop, then upload my video to Capcut from my phone, go to my laptop, and edit it in Capcul there? This is the second question I have sent you~ not sure if you answer viewer questions, but I thought I'd try again. Thank you for your videos :)

Hello and thank you so much for this helpful video! I got stuck because I can't find the option to sync on my iPhone 7plus, running version 15.8.2. In your video, your sync was already running but was on pause. Can you tell me where I can find the sync option? Thank you!

You can access iCloud from your local folder system File Explorer! No need to log in to it in the browser! Add it to your file browser sidebar, and use it like any other folder - anything you add, delete, move or change will sync of course. I use it this way on my Mac AND PC - you just need to install iCloud on PC manually.

I have been editing videos for my TH-cam channel for about 9 years using Movie Maker which is the most basic editing program available on Windows. But it is no longer available on updated Windows 10. So I am now learning or attempting to learn Capcut so I can continue making tutorials. Your channel by far is the best and most concise for an older or beginner editor. I can not thank you enough. Now on to more of your videos.

I’m a Detectorist who’s about to start there’s so many to choose from I’m looking for an easy to use one as I’m not very tech minded I have the correct things for videos body camera and iPhone ect it’s just getting it all together I’ll watch your video a few times to get it sorted my pc is Mac I’ve got it downloaded but not yet tried I’m based in Kent in the uk but thanks for the video fingers crossed look out for me when I finally get up and running showing the history and beautiful places I detect all the best shaune in Kent 👍 and happy new year

Is there a limit on how long the final video that you create can be or this mostly for short 1 minute video clips? Also have you had to deal with any lagging issues when dealing with videos that are for example in 4k?

Thank you for the detailed basics. I’m an experienced, old, PC guy who’s never created videos and trying to create a video from a Hi-8 recording of a wedding 30+ years ago. I created exactly what I wanted with free Movie Maker, then found it watermarked unless I subscribed. I next tried Davinci Resolve and found it far too complicated for this one task. Next, I created what I wanted with ClipChamp but it kept freezing up and requiring a restart before I could finalize it. Hopefully, I can do what I want with CapCut without having to subscribe! Edit: Thanks to your videos I was able to create the wedding video with text, music, etc. fairly quickly. I love how easy it is to edit the video files.

I could never understand them! Your video is amazing! Slow enough for me to digest and follow along. (I am 63 and have worked on technology most of my career but to me, capcut is NOT intuitive.) So grateful for your videos on this, thank you again! P.s. i spent hours trying to figure out getting a video from my iphone to PC! I tried this icloud way….magic!
