ATV Snowplow in Action!
Plowing my gravel driveway with my new (1986) Honda TRX350, and my craigslist plow. It sure beats shoveling and trying to snowblow a gravel driveway. The starter Bendix is stripped, the headlight goes on and off, but you gutta love how good a Honda runs! If you want to see details- let me know. Thanks for watching!

Hey everybody - Steve here! I love building cool stuff, and since my truck camper video is doing well I figured I'd post the van tour. I built this van about 5 years ago. She started life as a short wheel base Econoline E350 van that I added the fiberglass high top, spray foamed it, and finished the inside with shiplap and a mahogany ceiling. I hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed...

Here is a video of my lightweight truck bed camper. It is 6'6"x6'6" overall and it about 6' tall. The floor area is 4'x4' with a 2' storage in the front of the truck bed. I built it using 1x2 pine framing, glued and screwed everything together. I used rockwool insulation with tyvek house wrap. Outside is 1x6 T&G pine. I designed the camper using Sketchup and everything fit together perfectly. I...

Here is my new excavator spreading loam for a front lawn. I used a 2x6-8' with 2" U-bolts around the teeth. Worked great. Took about 2-1/2 hours total. Thanks for watching

I'm considering buying one of these machines, so I rented it for the day to see what it was capable of. Worked great, pulled 3 stumps, and huge rocks. Took all day, but it was very impressive for its size! This is 300x speed, it took 15 minutes real time.

Made my Honda VTX 1300 as comfortable as possible. Installed 10" bagger apes, extended cables, wires, and brake line. Installed windshield. Installed Harley Police Saddlebags and Harley fender to match. Painted the bike with Monstaliner. I am very happy with the bike now- comfortable, and has some storage! Hope you enjoy the Video

I really like the design. Good idea with the roof but I think that will be the first thing you will need to address. I can only imagine what will happen when your doing 65 and you cross paths with a big rig. Instant convertible! I like the look though and super light.

two 300lb actuators, one at each end, probably need 12 throw. Each one has to push out/down on arms that are below the frame of that back section section that will rise. I can see it in my head but hard to explain. Hopefully the futon frame would be strong enough to hold the forces, elongated plates along the side and screwed in multiple places will help.. Once in the upright position, push it back into the wall. Depending how long your push arms are, might restrict distance to wall. I would estimate 2 inches below the frame. The other side should work well just in the middle of the frame. Cheers

awesome, love it. I've made a few tiny houses and am working on a truck camper now, I think I am going to go with your design with a few tweaks to accomodate pnw moisture. I like the seethrough roof, as most tiny spaces like that are so low ceiling and small that a heater cooks them, so bleeding heat aint so bad, even a beeswax candle I bet would keep it heated while lit. Something to consider with the cedar, I did cedar on a cargo trailer I made, granted I bought cheap cedar fence pickets that were still wet when I sanded and screwed them down everywhere, and I became allergic to cedar. It was really bad, i inflated around the eyes like a balloon, and get very swollen anytime I cut or sand cedar, so I now have to wear a complete hazmat suit and goggles, which I must strip and run away from as soon as I'm done cutting.

If your roof doesn't work out, look into some of the different material they use on semi truck trailer roofs, it's lightweight.
