Hi, Zack! Tyringham is a great little village, so thanks for showing it. Just up Jerusalem Road is Tyringham Cobble, a great scenic walk that incorporates part of the AT. Further along the road is what used to be a Shaker community with some beautiful Shaker houses. Just an aside it’s pronounced Tirringham - a soft “i” like in igloo.

Am I the only one that knows a lot about Tolland and the story's behind it?

My aunt sadly passed away and left me land in Tolland, I am planning on building on it.

My aunt and uncle owned Goblin Hollow Farm for more than 50 years at 25 Pleasant St. in Plainfield. I spent MANY happy summers at this wonderful place, and Plainfield holds a very special place in my heart. It is now owned by a nice couple who have kept it as a working farm called Manda Farm.

I have a friend who lives in Plainfield, Zach, and we used to go to her house for book club. Long ago they owned a restaurant that served buffalo meat, and they also owned several emus.
