🪔 Welcome to my little corner where I share videos about my life as a homemaker. I love 📚 reading, ☕ drinking tea, 🍰 eating sweets, and 👨👩👧👦 spending time with my family. If you enjoy relaxing videos about everyday life, then I hope you can join me on a journey of discovering what makes life special.
Quick snippet about me: I went to college to teach middle and high school English. After teaching for a year and a half, I chose to stay home and care for my newborn baby boy. Now, over 3 years later, we have a sweet, smiling baby girl who loves watching her big brother run and play. I don't use their real names on social media so I nicknamed them Kai (my son) and Raya (my daughter).
Thank you for being here and for watching my videos!
With peace and gratitude,
Taheryah 💜

New sub here. Thanks for sharing.
Nice content keep up❤
I don't like cucumbers either lol. When it comes to healthy things that I don't like, I try to avoid eating it by itself. For example, I put nuts (which I do really like) on ice cream or I put it in a food processor with other ingredients to make a thick walnut butter spread to put on top of pancakes. One time I ended up making chocolate beet cake (which tasted great ) to get rid of extra beets lol.As for the cucumbers...smoothie is a good way to go. You can add pineapple, Bananas, strawberries ,apple juice to disguise the taste. I do this for my child and myself since cucumber is good for bone health. It's loaded with vitamin K. Vitamin K helps with calcium absorbtion. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the suggestions! I should try that smoothie, it sounds good. My children like smoothies. I've heard of it but never tried a beet chocolate cake. 🌻
Very much enjoyed. New sub....Over from Habits of a Homemaker w/ Angel.....

My parents came to visit my family. It was lovely. There were some good family get together with my husband's relatives.
It's great to spend time with extended family, especially as we grow and have our own families.
Loving your style and the elegant outfit you are wearing. That looks elegant and comfortable as well ✨
Thank you so much!
💚
I struggle with having realistic expectations. Me and my husband talk about it often. I’m always trying to do it all.
@@Words2mydaughter If I try to do it all I'll get nothing done. I try to a few things at a time, do them well, then add a little more at a time 🌹
@@byTaheryah that’s really smart
I’m the same way. I don’t use the dishwasher. I hand wash. Feels like I have more control lol. And can I mention that I enjoy your filming style.
@@Words2mydaughter I also don't want to wait for the dishwasher to run its cycle. Thank you so much!
@@byTaheryah you’re welcome
I used to get so caught up in teacher mode, that some aspects of homemaking was neglected. Sometimes I would have a partial school day, where some of the subjects are taught, to make time for homemaking tasks. Also, I may cook (especially dinner) for more than one day...that really comes in handy and helps me with accomplishing more the next day. I am working on having my little one involved in age appropriate tasks (besides putting away toys). 😂
@@jodi-annhiggins2596 These are great tips! Balance is a learned skill 🙂
Your baby is so cute i enjoy watching❤❤
@@zaidavlogs9 Thank you so much!
Yhank you for your helpful video! Your tips are very useful! Thank you for wishing us "Be at peace". Greetings from Athens, Greece❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm happy my video is able to help you! 🌻
I really liked your video overall! I like how you did the captions to explain your process of cleaning the kitchen. One thing I would like to add as a tip is when sanitizing your kitchen counter, I would either not use disinfecting disposable wipes because they contain unhealthy chemicals and they remain there where you are prepping food. Or you could wipe counters again to try to remove the residue of the wipies with cleaning rag and water or cleaning rag and vinegar. Not sure if this will be helpful tip for someone.
This really helped me, thank you!!
Waffles looked delicious, tips were really on point, and a change of scenery makes such a difference in mine and Ezzys day.
Yes, Stone Mountain Park was wonderful!! Travel tip: Make sure to take toddler to the bathroom for numbers 1 and 2 right before leaving the house. This is likely to reduce the need to pull over on the journey (especially if you are the only adult on the trip ).
Great tip! We'll be visiting the park again soon to see more of it. :)
Thank you! Thank you! Your videos are so encouraging, so helpful! ❤♥️💐🌹

Thanks for sharing the juice recipe.

Delicious and healthy juice you have made.. i also like your refrigerator cleaning ❤
Thank you so much! This juice is delicious, my 3 year old son even likes it
Singing and playing praise and worship music helps me stay motivated while I work. Also, focusing on pleasing Yah helps me to do homemaking with joy.
Music is an especially great motivator for me. Unless I have a dance party and then little gets done, haha ☀️
Thank you for sharing your travels. A change of pace and scenery is wonderful. It is a blessing to share a meal and spend time with family. These moments make memories that are especially important for kids.
It really is! I try to make good memories for my children, and I hope they'll always remember the time I spent with them. 🌸

Vacuuming in the kids room after playing is always so dangerous and satisfying😈🙈

Hi from Montréal! I am almost done with my own spring cleaning! So much work but it feels so great having a clean home! Thank you! You are helping me with the last steps!
You are so welcome! I hope you feel more motivated now 🌺
I like disinfecting the matress, cushions and unwashable items with my steamer😊 I was really blown away when I saw you use the microfiber mop to clean the bathroom walls. I thought Whatt?!! Thats a great idea, I never thought about that. I enjoy my microfiber mop even more...so versatile. Thanks Taheryah😊
Yes I was thinking, "how do I make washing the walls quicker and cover more space?" So I thought about using this mop. So easy 🌸

I really need to do a deep cleaning of my walls. And I love making homemade lemonade in the spring. I do a honey lemonade. It’s so good. My daughter loves it.
That's sounds really good!
I love this. Especially the part about making homemaking more enjoyable. I love doing things to make homemaking and the environment fun and ejoyable. Enjoyed this video.
Thank you so much for watching! Yes, I figure since it has to be done might as well make it fun 🕶
This is great...motivating and inspiring. God bless you 🙏
Thank you so much! 🌻
It's so important to cherish your daily life! That makes up most of our days, so it's necessary to feel comfortable being with oneself and to care for one's own good (and for your loved ones, too!). Very nice vlog, I'd love to see more of the positive selfcare!
Thank you so much for watching! Yes, being content is an important mindset to cultivate 🌻
I love it when you said, "...and my soul is quieted." Isn't that what it's all about? I love that. You also used the word 'crippling' and that completely describes how things have been for me. I literally couldn't bring myself to clean my house and that was quickly followed by (also crippling) guilt because I eventually had to hire someone to do it. I feel like I'm showing a kids a bad example by not being able to clean the whole house like I used to. You made many valid points and I appreciate this video. Thank you so much for sharing. You are very relaxing to watch. I'm not even done; only halfway through, but had to pause to start typing my comment as the thoughts came. I will work on contentment and resetting my expectations + enjoying the privilege and blessing of actually having a BEAUTIFUL home to maintain and a family to care for. Cherish the moments! Thank you, again.
I'm glad that you enjoyed my video! I believe balancing everything takes much time and skill to learn. Even when you are overwhelmed, your perseverance can teach your children not to give up when things are just too much. It's a good life skill for them to learn. 🌻
Just the video I need at the moment. Thowdah again Achowth for sharing these tips. One thing I would like to add, is us as homemakers need to remember that homemaking is actually a ministry. At times we tend to think that ministry is only going on the streets and in assemblies preaching and teaching people. Ministry is an act of service...service to our husbands, children and those who are physically invited into our home. To answer your question, I would like to start having Science and Arts and Crafts as apart of my homeschooling, particularly for the summer. The science could be more nature centered and outdoors such as gardening, melting ice in the sun, studying animals and plants, observing the stars, etc.
Yes I completely agree! Science, arts and crafts sound fun to add to homeschooling. So far, I've been focusing on the basics and adding reading and writing. ✏️
Thank you for your motivation) I'm also at home with my child, I work at home and I don't have time for a lot
You are so welcome! Time can be very short for at home parents. I just take it one day at a time 🌻
Watching you all the way from Sweden 🇸🇪❤️👍
Thank you for watching!
Just the vid i wanted to see, sometimes i end up being overwhelmed, trying to do everything at the same time and lose balance
I understand the feeling! The best thing is I to try to do things one at a time based on what's most important. Even when it feels like time is low, there's still time.
I like your videos so relaxing and calming.. happy viewing ❤
Thank you so much 🤗
