This will be a short video recap of my visit to the DFW Joe Show in 2024. Due to financial difficulties, I wasn't able to buy much, but I did do a few trades. And to the guy I traded some GI Joe and Star Wars figures for DC Justice League figures: I didn't get to even take a picture of them. Dallas Vintage Toys wanted them so I did a trade for what you see in this video. Thank you to all the pe...

Introduction to Punch-Out Or Press-Out Books
I bought one about a yr ago and it’s a nice play set specifically when u fill it out with Jabba and the other characters it really looks nice ,but I plan to modify my and make it more sturdier and simpler to assemble great video THANKS 😊👍
Thank you for watching! It is a great addition to any Star Wars collection. The design lends itself to getting Jabba and a bunch of his "party goers" to hang out. Happy Building!
This was a fun video to watch, I never had one of these but it looks really cool. Enjoyed watching you assemble it and loved seeing those Final Faction figures in use! Take care my friend!
Thank you for watching! I was pleasantly surprised how well it went together. Hopefully I can add more videos soon.
I loved these POTF2 dios as a kid
I think I would have loved them too. But I was in college at the time and had Transformers and GI Joe on my mind. Thank you for watching.
I need to pick this one up, I just got the cantina because of Wilhelm, forgot how cool it was. I never had the palace though.
It's a good playset. Definitely worth the purchase if you really like Star Wars and want a neat little background for displaying your figures. Thank you for watching.
so, Han Solo isn't made of cardboard? EPIC FAIL!!!! JK! great video! Maybe you can duct tape over Han Solo, or Aluminum Foil over him to carbonize him?
But...but aluminum foil isn't cardboard too.🤪 I'm not really sure what they were hoping to achieve with this figure. It just seems odd. I think they did make a figure with a carbon block "case" so that the Solo could be "trapped" in it. But that was NOT released here. Thank you for watching.
@@aworldmadeofcardboard3692 yep I have the figure that looks like your figure and clips into the backside of the carbon slab. It’s like the exact opposite of your figure. I suppose if I put the carbon top of mine on yours it would be complete
I got the Jabba's Palace diorama as well. I hope you have fun with yours! You might need some paperweights to hold parts of it down. That's what I had to do with mine. Luckily by then I collected a bunch of Jabba's Palace and Tatooine related Star Wars figures to populate it!
I've thought about getting a few figures for it. I have it sitting on a shelf now and it looks SO EMPTY with no figures in it. It is a fun little playset to build. Thank you for watching.
This is awesome!
Thank you. And thank you for watching!
Looks great. The added parts does make the robot look much better. 🙂
Thank you. And thank you for watching! I hope to add more personal designs soon.
Nice...You really did improve the heck out of that toy. I'm going to check out your other videos to see what else i can get cool ideas from. Thanks for the great video
Thank you for watching! I only have a few Paper Toy Models up as of right now, But I've got new ideas on the way. Keep watching.
I got obssesed with dean cains superman when lois and clark was syndicated in the early 2000s . I grew up on the 3 supermen you mentioned also. Im a 1968 born gen x person.
You got me by 3 years. I grew up in the 70's and 80's. It was a simpler time when our heroes stood for truth, justice and the American Way. Such a great time to be a kid.
U are awsome. Fun accesible easy to make crafting!!!😊😊😊
Thank you for the complement! That really means a lot!
Love watching 😊
Thank you for watching!
Totally awesome video buddy!
Thank you. And thank you for watching.
Very cool!
Thank you for watching, Gojitron! We need to meet up one day.
Man this was cool, as always a pleasure to see you everytime. Lt's do it again, say next year?? lol
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing you again. Definitely, we need to get together again. Thank you for watching.
Amazing video. And I thoroughly agree with your staments about the people meet at DFWJOE show.
Thank you for watching. Everyone I met there was fantastic!
I wish I was closer to the 'Fellowship'! I hope to make it to one of these next year. That would be better than meeting any celebrity!
You may be miles away, but Your are still part of the Fellowship. Thank you for being a part of it. Also, Thank you for watching.
Excellent video! Really bummed we couldn’t make it out there, it looks like a great time! Hopefully we’ll meet up again at another show soon.
One day we will meet. I am looking forward to it. I hope a certain pink vehicle will be some consolation. 😁 Thank you for watching!
Wonderfuly video. Great message. Fantastic fellowship. I'm so glad we all got to share this wonderful weekend!
Thank you for being a fantastic of this great weekend. I hope to be able to see you guys again. And thank you for watching.
I was very glad to meet you and am honored to be included in a photo in this wonderful heartfelt video. Thank you! The people matter more than the stuff and you said it in this video 💯 I look forward to watching more of your content and seeing you again next year ❤🙌 - Jeff Butler “NowhereManChild”
Thank you for watching. I thoroughly enjoyed finally meeting you after seeing you in chats for what seems like ages. I hope to meet you again too.
This video is perfect. Definitely got me
Thank you, Chad. And thank you for taking a little interest in a 53 year old nerd who loves dollies and cardboard toys. Thank you for watching and sharing my little video. I am humbled by your generosity.

What a beautiful video and moving message! It brings tears to my eyes and warms my heart. It was such a pleasure getting to know you better that weekend. I truly hope our paths cross again at the next convention. Until then, sending you lots of love and positive vibes! See in the chats soon!
Thank you for watching. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting to and your beloved. You guys made the weekend so much more fun. Thank you.
It was such a wonderful treat to hang out with you and for you to join us for Sunday Lunch meant a lot to us. I can’t wait for the next convention! Thank you for being such an outstanding person!
Thank you for being a fantastic part of a fantastic weekend! Thank you for watching too.
Great video! Thank you for being such an awesome person! I really enjoyed my time hanging out with you! I hope we can do it again!
Sure thing. I hope to be able to get together again too. Thank you for watching.
Not gonna lie, I got a little teary eyed. You explained that weekend so right! Everyone was so cool!
Thank you for being a part of a great weekend. You are fantastic. Also, Thank you for watching and sharing my little video.
@@aworldmadeofcardboard3692 it was a blast! I truly loved hanging out with you and talking about our childhoods .
Don't tell me 3-D printers can make things out of cardboard!!!
I would have to change my name to "Life in plastic, It's fantastic." Maybe... I don't know. Thank you for watching!
th-cam.com/video/Nkj6yrqfnSs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Np4BGMAY__8p_gCe We are getting close, though.
This is awesome dude
Thank you for watching and thank you for the compliment. I hope to have more soon.
What a fun toy. And the kit adds a lot to it. Really neat
Thank you. I hope to put up more of my own designs soon. Thank you for watching.
Fantastic and very creative! 👍
WOW! Thank you for the compliment! I really appreciate it. Thank you for watching!
Now that's cool👍👍👍
Thank you! and thank you for watching!
I was watching this and thought it would be a great addition to my very moderate Superman collection (he being my favourite superhero), thought I heard something but dismissed it and went to e-bay. Found a couple on e-bay and the noise I heard before became clearer, it was my bank manager laughing his ass off. The more vintage hero stuff the better for me. Thanks for the review.
Sounds like a great way to look at collecting. It is a neat little book. Thank you for watching.
The Fortress is my favorite. Krypto!
He is a cute little doggy. Thank you for watching!
I love that press out book! I would love to have those patterns to make dioramas with.
Thank you for watching. It is such a simple book to make some beautiful displays.
now, can you reinforce the cardboard to make it stronger, like plastic?
I was thinking about that. Even a redesign that would make a stronger playset. But I would need to call it, "The Castle of Something not to be mistaken for Lions or Heroes, but still Heroic by nature." Just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?😁
@@aworldmadeofcardboard3692 Castle of Power. Castle of Solitude. The Crystal Castle.
THE CRYSTAL POWER CASTLE OF SOLITUDE! YES!😅
You can be heard loud and clear man!
Thank you for watching!
Nice build! It seems to be an amalgam of elements from different Batmobiles. The body is modern like Pattinson's version with the wings in the back from Keaton's and the "face" on the front from the 1950's version.
Cool! A "let's just combine everything" approach does make a neat looking little Batmobile. Thank you for watching!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for watching. More to come.
Wish I could do that. Unfortunately my hands are not that steady like they use to be. Well done thank you. 🙂
Honestly, as I have gotten older, my hands have started to shake. It's another reason I try to make the tolerances a little loose on my model designs. They aren't too loose, but they don't have the accuracy of a plastic model kit. Anyway, thank you for watching!
A very satisfying video! Yes I've gotten a few of my nephews into action figures but the prices are a huge roadblock. Hopefully Hasbros current woes will change things for the better
I hope so too. Thank you for watching.
Excellent video! Really enjoyed listening to you talk through the process.
Thank you the feedback. I really want to try to make videos that are informative and useful. Thank you for watching.
I wonder if that could be upscale to fit 6 inch figures.
🤔 6 inch scale...I think it is possible, but it need more internal structure to strengthen it. It would be neat build. Thank you for watching!
Almost $50 for a special G.I. Joe premium figure like Snake eyes and timber
Thank you for watching. The price of toy today is just totally unreal! That's why I make my paper toys available for free. Kids shouldn't have to worry about the cost of a toy. They should be able to play with it and have fun. And if they learn a little about building and construction and that leads them to be interested in engineering or design, like I was, EVEN BETTER.
Exactly. I was a small g.i Joe kid. I saw them and fell for them. I had to get rid of all of my Joe's when I went to high school. Before high school, I had my own lawn mowing business from about age 8. i figured it out just recently and I figured that I was making $2400 tax free money every month. I would go out and but all the joe toys that I liked. Now I am piecing my collection back together very slowly and at great expense. I wished I heard about dioramas when I was a kid. I wouldn't have bought some many joe.
Very cool. Thanks you for watching!
⚡️⚡️GREAT STUFF⚡️⚡️I’m glad I found your channel I look forward to seeing more of your videos📺 I do mostly TRANSFORMER Stop Motion 🎬📸🎞️ I hope you enjoy my animation‼️ 2:34
Thank you for watching. I love Transformers too. I'll definitely be checking out your channel.
I was born in 1969. My mother would buy one of these for me every Advent and I would get busy carefully punching out the pieces and assembling them. Mom would let me take over a side table in the living room or the mantel to set it up. This Christmas my husband found one in near-perfect, unpunched condition from 1973 and bought it for me. I'm considering making a replica out of wood.
That is a beautiful memory. Thank you for sharing. It would make a beautiful wood replica.
Absolutely amazing Mr. Cardboard! I'm printing one up up right away and making it!!!! I love it!!!
Thank you! And thank you for the Shout Out too. Happy Building!
Cool ship. Reminds me of the classic BSG Viper. Would be cool if some of the other vehicles were made from the vintage BSG toy line that also used that Viper nose design.
I do love BSG. The designs of the Vipers did influence this design, but I also loved the Starfire from Jason of Star Command and the Seeker from Space Academy. Those designs also influenced this fighter.
That is really awesome,
Thank you. More personal designs are on the way. Thank you for watching.
Its brilliant!!!! A cross between a Colonial Viper and a V shuttle craft! Very talented mate 👍❤😊
Thank you! That is very appreciated. Thank you for watching!
very cool! i like how it holds action figures!
Yes, it holds the pilot. I have just started working on a Shuttle Craft design that can hold more figures. Thank you for watching.
THIS is going to make a killer Quinjet for my 5 POA Avengers. 👍
Sounds good. Thank you for watching!
