The mandatory drift events absolutely murdered the fun factor of this game. Made me quit altogether. Your guide helped, but it's still way too easy to lose a combo. The ravenwest storyline only gives you 3 short laps to get 200k points and I'm just finding it simply impossible.

still relevant and very useful 2 years later! I got this game after more than a decade of being a "very good" drifter at nfs and ended up super frustrated in the first career drift event. this short yet clear explanation took me back to the basics and I can have fun drifting again lol thank you!

I stopped playing this because the framerate was so bad on xbox. Is there a fix?

I have problem with slingshot fuel objective: perform handbrake drift action, i dont now how to do it

Drifting is an absolute disgrace in this game, compared to the first one. The car turns like a truck, can't get a good angle at entry, it only accepts one specific angle as drifting (so only 25% of the actual drift), the rewind function doesn't bring back broken chains, so it's useless. Even with your advices I can't beat it at easy difficulty, while I'm dominating at hard in other events.

I consider myself a drag racer than a drift racer in general, but I really need to get this for Chapter 6 for Season 3 (Nathan McCane's Driftong Test) I wonder if controller settings would help even more.

I played through the entire story and a tiny bit of the career stuff about a year ago and just came back to the game, I'm finding it very easy with the AI on Expert as I'm going through the Semi-Pro section of the career, but I was wondering how to unlock the full development screens, as there seems to be a locked section thst I can't get to unlock and it doesn't say how to unlock it

How do you repair cars in Grid Legends? I heard that in the mechanic development in the Teams section, there is a repair cost reduction.

Hey, tx for all the guides Rebel 22 ! I have a question. Could you perhaps show in a separate video how to tune and drive the cars in snow and rain conditions. Especially the open wheel races are almost impossible for me to drive. Even in the rookie segment i just cant get through the faster corners without sliding out without being able to get the car back under control. Tx again for the videos. Because of them i turned of all assists and im banging manual gears now.

I've never been a fan (or any damn good) at Drifting, but with your excellent video and a lot of practice (and swearing), I've managed to get to a basic level of competence such that I've been able to complete the Drift Events in career mode (Damn it, I even managed to clock up over 5,000,000 points in one event). However, there is one final drift event I just can't master. The requirement is to "Score at least 1,000,000 points at Okutama Sprint Drift Stage - Full Route". The problem is that this is not a "Drift Circuit" but a 4-mile long road, quite narrow in places, with tunnels and several long sections with no bends to drift around. As a result, I keep losing my drift multiplier. I've tried drifting slowly from side to side up the straights in between bends, but it's so easy to clip a wall on the narrow bits and lose my score. I've also tried bombing as fast as possible on the straights between bends, but invariably my score will be wiped before I get to drift around the next bend. I've also tried ignoring the straighter bits to concentrate on getting a good score in a couple of the twisty sections, but I still can't get near 1,000,000 points (Best to date only 373,139 points). Could you offer some tips and tricks to help me achieve this elusive target? Things like, which vehicle to use, vehicle setup, driving assistance setup, driving speed/technique etc, etc. Incidentally, I noticed that less than 1% of Grid Legends players have achieved this target. So you'll be helping not only me but 99% of all other players.

I love drifting in games. Its always my favorite. Til i tried in this game. Theres no tutorial or anything about the mechanics in this game.

Drifting in this game makes me want to throw my controller at the tv lol it’s tough

Also I have total 292,253 after having finished story mode. Now I didn’t play for a month straight but I would say it took me a total of like 20 hours to get through that.

Thanks for the tips. I started with the story mode first before going to career and I ran into a issue where I would still get charged car repair fees even though I had that disabled and the damage set to visual only. Has anyone else had this issue. I legit could’ve made close to 700K had this actually worked.

I've watched several of your GRID Legends videos, looking for ways to improve my driving, although I think I'm not too bad as I'm usually in the top3 in online races. I just can say that I'm very thankful that I've discovered your channel, and that I wish there were more online players like you. I love every time you say "drive as clean as possible" in your videos... In that one that you made with 5 tips for being a better driver in GRID Legends, you show a bit of your first online race... I can say that almost 80% of my online races are like that hahaha. Nowadays I just wish I start at the back of the pack, so I can avoid all those crashes and guys ramming into each other hahaha. That's why I also like more GP tracks than urban tracks. Pretty good job, keep it up man!

How do you make it so you can weight shift? (Weight Shifting is when you get spun out fast at high speed and it causes the weight to shift over to whatever direction you’re going causing you to flip)

I remember playing grid autosport and I loved drifting. I was always in the top 5-10 on the leaderboard. For whatever reason in this game it is different

Anti roll isn't ABS. ABS Is anti lock braking system.

TIP: Online,... join sessions with damage on,... most players try to race clean then. Less ramming. More fun. More realistic. Even if new to the game. It's the way to go I think,...

Do you use any assists,... drift steering control on/off,.... traction control, stability control & ABS. 1-5? I'm on wheel not controller,...

The ps5 controller makes the whole game more realistic
