"The Research Division of the Bandaranaike Center for International Studies (BCIS) organized the fifth episode of the BCIS IR Chats with Professor Milica Boskovic to celebrate the
International Day of Peace on 21st September 2024. In this interview Dr Boskovic emphasizes on 'Women, Peace and Security'.
Dr. Milica Boskovic is a full professor and Vice-Dean for Science at the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security in Union-Nikola Tesla University in Belgrade, Serbia. Her academic background includes a BA in Civil Defence, an MA, and a PhD in Security Science. From 2005 to 2018, she worked at the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, first as an Assistant Professor and from 2013 as an Associate Professor. Since 2019, she has worked as a Professor at the College of Social Work and from 2020, as a Full Professor at the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security.
Dr. Boskovic is the editor and co-editor of four international handbooks published by Nova Science, USA, and IGI-Publishing, USA. Her main areas of interest and expertise include social disorders, criminology and victimology, human security, and organized crime - trafficking."
