If you grab it on sale it is worth the sale price! I fully expect them to upgrade it when the switch 2 comes out as well(hopefully)

I have been playing it more here and there and i will say it is growing on me!! I will prob do a reflection video in a few months on it.

Yeah, pc player here, I like ea skate for mindless smooth fun, i like skater xl for something more tech but still mindless and i LOVE session for how good it looks and how hard it is when i land a trick. Session is like the dark souls of skating games. If you put in the time, it becomes the GOAT. The learning curve is STEEP but once it clicks it translates to the other skate games really well.

I might do an update video in a few months on it esp if it gets a Switch 2 version because the more i play it the more it is growing on me even on the switch! Control and setting wise it is the most realistic switch Skating game i have ever played.

I have fun with it on Switch but getting used to it on PC first helped a lot to enjoy the experience.

@spht9ng I can definitely see that being a thing. Being able to play Session on the go is a nice thing to be able to do.

@ I'm not gonna lie it's way harder on switch! no analog trigger control makes it way harder to control turns and the framerate is like 25 fps at best with the graphics looking so fizzly.

This is such a good one for newcomers and if the story does interest you at all they cover what happened in every other title in full detail so you can feel caught up!

It runs at damn near 240p resolution. And it's built with the horribly inefficient stock version of Unreal Engine 4 for Switch. Some UE4 games run well on Switch but those are made by huge studios that do a ton of coding work on the engine to optimize it. The studio that makes session is tiny.

I appreciate the sub and yeah those are some great pick ups! I gotta wait and see what is coming to the switch 2 before i make my final selections on the year. I know i will do some Xenoblade X content as well when that drops in march.

@@ChocalateBlackman yeah i think so, i have another video on my first impressions of it as well check it out when you get time. I have been doing the survival modes and arcade modes outside of training to try and get better. I think this one is worth the grab plus they are giving away Dizzy for free on 2/6.

100% It is such a great time, i think i found a new main to play as yesterday.

Seems to be 60fps and the online is shaping up to be pretty good!

@@desureaptitude168 i wouldn’t Doubt it at all actually. WB recently said one of the things they are focusing on is the Batman games going forward so it might just be awhile with how long game development cost. But rumors are point to an arkham asylum remake currently.

@ The only thing I want from an Arkham Asylum remake is for them to replace make the combat better (as in more like Arkham Knight).

@@whateverwithalex9083 i can fully agree with this statement, if you have the means to play it elsewhere do it. But if switch is all you got, well you can have fun but it’s not worth more than $10 in my opinion. I took one for the team and bought the collection for the full retail price tag 😂😂

@@jtscorecrystal I did too when it came out 😂. Played actually a good bit of Knight on there, but in the end switched to PC once I had the means.

@ hell yeah brother. I had it on PS4 awhile ago if i was to grade the switch version based on what i have played now that its been patched i still give it a D- like it’s not failing but boy howdy is it close. I am hoping that when the Switch 2 is out it gets a major overhaul.

@@jtscorecrystal I was literally telling my friend yesterday the #1 game I'm hoping gets a boost on Switch 2 was Arkham Knight.

@@SomeOrangeCat It better get a free switch 2 upgrade because yeah the frame rate can be a mess. Are you playing docked or handheld ? I tried to handheld and I feel I have more issues in that mode.
