Thanks for watching! I'll argue the reverse that saving clock earlier by using your timeouts helps you get higher scores. Every time you "don't" use your time outs you are wasting 0:04s of game clock that you can never get back. By using your timeouts ASAP, it can lead to one or two more plays in the long run that could net you another 3 or maybe even 8 points against the CPU in your final score! There are honestly few times where I wish I still had my timeout at the end of halves. Some games I don't even end up using them at all, since my style is to get out of bounds on every play to save game clock.

Great question! In a Point Differential (PD) based league, most of the time when I receive the ball back from the CPU with fewer than 1:30 left on the game clock, I will eat the clock until fewer than :30 is left before I score my TD. The reason for this is that any time you score with fewer than :30 left, it is impossible for the CPU to score on you again before halftime. When you score on the CPU between the 1:30 - 0:30 time in the 2nd or 4th quarter, it is RNG based and the CPU can score on you and leave you with little or no time left to score again. So I'm intentionally time wasting to not let the CPU score on me again because I'm focused on achieving the highest PD possible. Could I get a turnover/stop and maybe one more score? Sure. Is it likely? Not normally.

Sorry on the late response here! This video is a bit dated. I now predominantly run a 2-1-0 (DL-LB-DB) or a 1-2-0 in the RCAA, depending on free agency availability for 5* defenders within the age limit.

Yeah, my personal preference is playing with a QB. It helps keep the game "fresh" as every play could be different and you have more to consider. No QB means I'm always throwing in the same spot every play every game. 3 minute quarters of that same thing over and over makes me go crazy. I think No QB is a highly competitive approach, but it's just not for me.
