Damn that's big
This tornado is the number one reason why all storm chasers need dominators and tivs
My uncle had WWll type PTSD from this, go to my uncle and he’ll tell you all about it and how his house was swept away but he surprisingly made it.
A LIGHTNING BALL!
What that 1 unemployed homie is doing on a Wednesday at 2 pm:
2.6
Windspeed was 302mph😲
Doesn't the el reno was a 2.6 miles wide
Bruh not 2.5mile it 2.6miles

That wasn’t the finger of god that was the whole hand they say
So horrible....but soo effing cool!
Something happened on the UAE 🇦🇪 I know this video was a year ago but here im telling you the story so in morning was like raining good but until 2PM UAE had a supercell the clouds turned green everyone on the country is being scared 😨 until it came the night as the mother of storms 😥
I love how the wipers went with the music….
when the lightning struck, you see a lowering above what seems to be the tornado, that lowering was the tornado and what you see moving is A funnel, but the tornados damage is all around it because at this time it was partly invisble. The funnel later grew to 2.6 miles wide. windspeeds where measured before it reached peak width and probabaly intensity. max recorded winds 297-336mph possibly 350mph but that is unkown.
Don’t get it twisted… that big cloud you see is not a cloud, it’s the tornado
Jeez, that RFD is insane. Just looking at those vortices yoiu can tell that was going to be a monster.
This tornado would have killed thousands if it were slightly to the east but it only killed 8 people including 4 storm chasers. Rip to them but it's path was in a field basically the whole time it was on the ground.

😱😱😱😱😱😱😱🙏🙏🙏🦶
That is crazy
That's Richard Henderson's truck on the far right. He can be seen in the Deguara/Croan footage pulling into that driveway. If you look at the placement of the telephone pole in font of the tornado (not the one in the foreground) and the barbed wire fence, it matches up to Richards (blurry) photograph of the tornado at this stage.
you mean the silver truck backing up ?
@@pazzo5150 Yes.
So the twistex crew was impacted already or not long before this ?@@IvoryOnMars
@@pazzo5150 According To Richard Henderson's friend George "Sonny" Slay (in an article from the Oklahoman), Richard had sent him a cellphone photo at 6:05 CDT which correlates with the shape/size of the tornado in this clip and Richard's photo. Twistex was not impacted until 6:21CDT (based on Jim Bishops footage and the positioning of the Twistex team and the sub vortex that overtook them as visible from his footage) or 6:23 CDT (according to official reports and research taken from the wreck sight). The scenes taken at 6:05 occurred just north of the intersection of S Fort Reno Rd (a north-south road) and W OKC Reno St (or Reno Rd, a east-west road). The Twistex team was in the area at this time but were overtaken east of Hwy 81 (a north-south roadway). They were overtaken just west of the intersection of W 10th St (Reuter Rd, an east-west road) and S Radio Rd (n-s road). Hope this clears up any confusion.

One of the worst tornadoes that ever hit USA.
actually it was not doing barley any damage
ot was rated an ef3 and there is 5 rankings
6 @@orangeeee1
not close
In terms of strength, yes, but luckily, it never had the chance to do significant damage to infrastructure. It was rated an EF3 because of this. Unfortunately, 8 people still died, 4 of them being storm chasers, and 3 of those storm chasers being from TWISTEX.
Where??
The fact THATS it’s about to be a. Decade old…..damn
2.6 miles not 2.5
That is beautiful footage!! So tragic, god bless and protect!
Graphics looks like a horror game ngl
tf you mean graphics this real life
the wind is music to my ears on max volume
POV you were born in 2013 and you were in the path of the tornado
I would’ve loved to chase that tornado especially when you can see the Multi vortices which is rare
And I was a 4 year old who lived only an hour away. I only learned this recently
I was 4 as well but I don’t know and still don’t know how far I was from it
I’m lucky to have survived this
that is terrifying
