    $$$$ TIME HAS RUN OUT !! John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Don't ignore this message... REPENT NOW !! TRUST that God raised Him from the dead !! By FAITH accept JESUS's blood alone as payment for your sins unto Salvation, to escape what's about to happen !!

    Never trust your Boss, They will push you as far as you let them. I was a Truck Driver hauling steel. I can't tell you how many times they tried to put 100 thousand lbs on a truck rated for 60 thousand lbs or fake the paper work. Like I said Never trust a word your Boss says and always I mean ALWAYS double check.

    I currently work with a miner who survived this explosion, he was at the portal during the time of the explosion which is the only reason he survived. He was supposed to be on the face that day and all of his friends died.

    Knowing that some of these men refused to be interviewed due to not wanting to incriminate themselves tells you all you need to know about the morals and lack of integrity among these cowards. They say mining is a brotherhood. I say bullshite...tell what you did or didn’t do and let’s find out how to make sure this type of tragedy never happens again. I wouldn’t want to work with someone who , even in a case of death will still try to hide their involvement. Cowards

    I have always believed that if there were the amount of air in the face that the law requires, it would have been impossible for this explosion to happen.

    What happened to the stonedust, do they not erect stonedust barriers and blow stoneduct onto the sidewalls? This would not have prevented the methane explosion but would have prevented the coaldust explosion.

  • @pocketsproductions8825
    @pocketsproductions8825 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What msha isn’t letting everyone know there was mixes of methane and ethane gas and what really caused the explosion was natural gas coming out of the floor of the mine

    You can really tell by these comments who knows about mining, and who doesn't. Which, is to be expected, naturally you wouldn't know unless you've done this kind of work. However, you can also tell those who THINK they know...and have not a single clue.

      There are bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D programs in Occupational Safety and Health, toxicology, industrial hygiene, and safety engineering. You should explore these. There are people who specialize in accident investigation to determine root causes - and, hopefully, prevent their recurrence.

    I sit behind a desk in air conditioning wearing clean clothes and making a good salary and bitch when my boss gets on my case about some dumb spreadsheet. I really have no right to complain. These men lost their lives working to support their families.

    Who the hell was in charge,there is no mention of stone dust being spread in the roadways or stone dust barriers set at required distances to kill a coal dust explosion. I suppose that's private mining for you.Glad the UK had the NCB and had the privilege to work underground with great miners.God bless those who have died doing this job.

    First I have a first Class Hons Degree in Mining Engineering. With a First Class Certificate of Competence. Started in 1975 with NCB then British Coal. and yes I have been the Statutory responsible person in charge of a Big Mining operation. All documentation of the propagation of the Methane then Coal dust explosion is irrelevant! None of this is an unknown phenomena. In U.K. Coal mines it was a requirement that a inert dust ratio was maintained through out the mine. The. Design of the long wall is such that a ventilation quality will not get with anywhere near the explosive range 5 to15% ( power of at 1.25% men evacuated at 2%) This is gross incompetence from top to bottom. Including the inspectorate system. BLOOD CRIMINAL. NO EXCUSE. !

    • @scotjohn4440
      @scotjohn4440 ปีที่แล้ว

      The NCB ensured all that? It was more luck than good management in many cases? Longwalls were maybe designed [as you say] to operate within those parameters but in practice few ever did, thus correction [where possible] was the practice? In those days [& now] one had to find the gas in the first place then deal with it, that's why so many explosions or similar - lack of detection [failure to, or other]? In many cases the longwall design was proper but on incline faces the CH4 could behave that it went against the airstream? In many cases too much ventilation can be a problem as well as the unknown of hitting gas pockets where an whenever. The other is when one is faced with CH4 flows of 2000 litres per second from the goaf paints a different picture in longwall operations!

    $30/hr and FULL BENEFITS/health/retirement... compensation in case of death. when 40% or MORE of jobs now dont even pay the rent and have to RUN, not walk, to their next job to pay the remainder of the rent... utilities, food as america lets in everyone that can uttter "political refugee" and get FREE EVERYTHING from the US taxpayers. 40% of the pppl BEFORE The current situation were 1-3 paychecks from being homeless with NO SAVINGS as they exist hand to mouth everyday/month and at end of month bring out credit card (CC) to pay for food/gasoline to get by til the end of the month... from the 20th of the month onward and then pay minimium or slightly more than minimum on the CC to keep the "balls up in the air" as long as they can until.... bankruptcy court... that the CC companies made more difficult in 2005 by paying off CONGRESS so ppl couldnt file bankruptcy without basically selling everything they have and starting over with NOTHING as CC companies posted record profits every quarter... like OIL COMPANIES when gas is $4/gal... when oil was $144/bbl in 2007... if oil goes to $144/bbl again... gas will be $8/gallon and the economy will tank. wont be able to give away the BIG SUV's/ TRUCKS all the wemen drive as status symbols that get 8 MPG.
