Dog Walking Fun Times
มุมมอง 1.1K10 ปีที่แล้ว
A compilation of videos from my time as a dog walker/pet sitter. Songs used: - Florence The Machine - Dog Days Are Over - 3OH!3 - Follow Me Down - The Beatles - Drive My Car - Imagine Dragons - Underdog - MN8 - I've Got A Little Something For You - Flo Rida - Let It Roll - Ladytron - Destroy Everything You Touch
0:30 Missed this for years that the spine for Black Fang is the wrong way round
"Nina's eyes popped out of what was left of her back" 😂
"And piss and shit" 😂
7:12 is genius writing. Comparing his work to Romeo and Juliet moments after inelegantly explaining the plot of said work at the outset is such a brilliant way to write an idiot while also signalling your writing chops.
Depois que vi esses momentos do dream weaver garth marenghi nunca mais levei a serio a serie do Del toro.
I love this guy so much, wtf
The fact that the comments section is full of people explaining why the jokes are funny is so mind bendingly meta I just can’t
The creaking of Garth's leather jacket is hilarious.
The moment he said subtext is for cowards, my mouth droped hard. It's one of the most hillarious things I've ever seen in my entire life.
"Garth.... that sentence needs a verb."
5:13 is a parody of a real series of books by Guy N. Smith
I read a lot of horror paperbacks and his prose isn’t even the worst I’ve run across
you he things he is funny. But really what he says is just a bit dumb.
I'd genuinely love to read some Marenghi originals won't lie.
Terrortome and Incarcerat are both out now. They also have audiobooks for them read by the man himself. They are incredible. They have definitely started to heal Briton. He’s also on tour the start of 2024. 😉
What happened to Slicer 2 through 3? 0:29
Who is this guy?
3:48 still relevant today
In the background, there was a pigeon
I recommend Garth Marengi's Terror Tome on audible, he's still got the character down pat
It being on sale on Audible was actually my introduction to this character and I'm hooked now 😅
"They tried *all* the positions: doggy, on top, and normal".
4:40 now I know where George RR Martin got the inspiration for that particular chapter
Which chapter?
@@woops9076All of them. "I know writers who use subtext, and they're all cowards." Martin lives by those words. He even named the two big continents Eastos and Westos, for crying out loud.
Tbf Newfoundland is an actual place
Perhap you have met me betwixt sleep and wake
I know authors who use subtext and they're all cowards.
0:47 god that’s a funny line 😂
"Y'know and to think that there weren't even rhyming dictionaries around when Bill wrote that is very humbling." (7:42) I'm writing song lyrics these days and often think of that reflection.
Garth and Dean complaining about bad sex writing and annoyedly coming up with better examples of their own is one my all time favourite TV moments.
The sand turned red. This was because she was bleeding on it.
"Buh-leeding on it"
This is a work of art, it's genius. Every other line is hilarious to anyone that's actually studied writing, it's so perfect in its pretentiousness.
Go study Irony, it's going to blow your mind
@@STo0Ka Why?
😂 the comments section is like an easter egg hunt for things that Garth Marenghi would actually say.
How many times is he going to descend that staircase? LMAO
'''well, good luck to you, you're an idiot'''
'''......this is because she was bleeing on it'''
''''no....... they weren't''''
"The moonlight shone down on the place unhindered. The gnarled parapets jagged upwards, like a bony hand of icy indifference. In the background, there was a pigeon." i aspire to be as great of a writer as garth marenghi
My autistic ass if I ever attempted to write
3:42 D&D when asked about their writing process of Season 8 of _Game of Thrones_
Dungeons & Dragons should stop writing.
I hope that I'll one day be afforded the opportunity to be an unnamed background character in one of Garth's literary works.
hahaha dude hilarious! :d
"Point being, I wrote this to heal Britain"
I don’t know why but “I’m the background, there was a pigeon” is just hilarious to me
i just looked this guy up, he's not a real person. this is an adult swim show parodying people like this.
adult swim?
was this... in doubt? i guess if this is someone's first exposure to this deranged rabbit hole, i can see how that would happen. i started with the show itself so it's incredibly difficult for me to imagine someone thinking garth exists, even though the circumstances make sense
Nonsense
This was on channel 4 in early 2000s at like midnight. I would stay up late to watch it and laugh my teenage ass off
can't believe this man wrote malignant
One of the small details that gets missed is when he says "copper smelling blood". He means iron XD
Blood tastes like pennies in your mouth, aka copper. Blood doesn't taste like iron.
@@JunkCCCP ...you've had pennies in your mouth?
Funny thing is I’ve written the exact same thing before. It just…smells like a copper penny to me i guess
Superman II...
A mutated placenta attacking my home city is an honour when it’s written by Garth.
And then, a hellbeast ate them
Wish we had garth help the writers of Shehulk and Rings of Power, He is on another level then those hack fucks.
5:30 If bridging the gap between 'ahh!' and 'oooh!' was his goal, he definitely accomplished that.
I come back to this video at least once a month and it never gets any less funny.
"Blood. And, piss and shit. This was the worst day of her life."
"Garth, that sentence needs a verb" holy shit, I need to watch this show
Did you watch it?
He is like a real life Shaun Hutson
The "placenta attacks Bristol" joke is a direct reference to Hutson (Erebus? Spawn? Something like that). There's also direct Guy N Smith and James Herbert digs.
I like how the wording of this comment implies that Shaun Hutson is a fictional character and Garth is real
Maggots are falling like rain
Maggots?
@@suchiuomizu type in the lyric, mannnnnn
@@suchiuomizu yeah, maggots, your eating maggots michael how do they taste (boom lost boys)
Point being, I wrote this to heal Britain
