    Correction... ex-arsonists, ex-looters, and ex-rioters

Ok, I see what your saying however he wasn't and isn't a police officer. He had no business being out there with a gun. I understand trying to do your "civic" duty but that doesn't give you the right to stroll out with a gun.

@@my2centspodcast60You are wrong. You implied that pro-Kyle folks are claiming that the 'civic duty' condition gave Kyle a "right to stroll out with a gun". The truth is that people, governments, and constitutions do not give or confer rights. However good people, good governments, and good constitutions protect peoples' INHERENT rights. There is also an insidious argument that the legality of Kyle's presence there that night was subordinate to that of the protesters - as though the protesters' stong feelings about Jacob Blake and other BLM matters gave them more moral authority to be on the streets of Kenosha that night than Kyle - and that Kyle's presence there was tantamount to trespassing on sacred space. The TRUTH is that Kyle had as much of a right to be there as the protesters and more of a right to be there than the looters, vandals, and arsonists.

@@hammockcamping2500 Again, I see what your saying however in this instance Kyle had no legal or moral authority or right to go out there and shoot someone. When you look at the news and events of that night there are only reports of one shooting and that is from Kyle. Kyle had every right to go out there and protest against the BLM protesters. However, again he was the only one that shoot someone because of his "civic duty". I haven't read or heard of any news publications that says any difference.

@@my2centspodcast60 he did not shoot anyone for civic duties sake. He was defending his life against those that were illegally aggressing against him.

@@my2centspodcast60 Did you see any videos of Kyle protesting? Did you see any evidence that he was aggressing illegally against anyone? Every video I saw involved him being chased by someone that bad, being interviewed by a reporter, hastening to a scene where someone needed a medic, and running by a camera with a fire extinguisher. None of those actions are protest actions nor are they assault or actions. Remember people were furious at him because he was helping put out fires. Would you fault him for that? Let's instead fault the people that were starting the fires and were getting aggressive with those that were putting them out.

It is appropriate to call them arsonists, looters, and rioters because that speaks to their state of mind. THINK ABOUT IT. Kyle was attacked. He wasn't just randomly attacked because he was at a riot. He was attacked because poor quality people, i.e. rioters, were objecting to his presence there. He wasn't attacked by the police or by others that were trying to ameliorate the effects of the rioters. He was attacked by ideologically driven folks that felt like they owned the streets.
