Fourth Element Halo AR Glove Review Part 2
มุมมอง 3249 หลายเดือนก่อน
Second glove review for the Fourth Element Halo AR gloves. The conditions were so harsh on part one that I don’t think it was fair. Although the water in Part 2 was about 5 degrees colder the surface air conditions were much better. I feel this gives a better and more realistic test.

Trying out the New Fourth Element Halo AR Gloves. Winter diving in the Midwest can be brutally cold and it was this weekend. The new glove liners from Fourth Element make it comfortable to dive in those conditions.
Buoyancy Control and Basic Scuba Skills
มุมมอง 4062 ปีที่แล้ว
The foundation of all scuba skills for a diver is buoyancy. Buoyancy together with balance, trim, and propulsion. This is how you stay still in the water column. Without this ability, you are just a human being underwater with expensive equipment, but you’re not a diver. A diver has balance and control and they build their skill set on top of that control. This is how you become a confident div...

Scuba Buoyancy Control Practice
มุมมอง 1843 ปีที่แล้ว
Learning to be a better diver take commitment and practice. Just taking a buoyancy class is not enough. Every minute out of the water takes away from your performance and ability. You need to continue to have focused and sometimes guided practice, just like any other art you are trying to craft. Extreme Scuba Makeover
มุมมอง 1903 ปีที่แล้ว
Recreational diver feels like something is missing. Wants more out diving. Wants to do better but struggles with basic skills. Was rushed through a standard open water diver program and now lacks confidence in their own diving ability. The Extreme Scuba Makeover breaks down the basic mechanics of being underwater and resets your own personal comfort level. Breathing, buoyancy and balance are al...

James, would you have a direct link to the particular gloves on the Grainger site? I am not sure which ones they are. I have a pair of the AR gloves and have been looking for an outer glove solution for over a year. Thanks.

I just got the halo from my dive shop just left Granger and they couldn’t source me at all rubber glove and three XL except for one pair that was caught in lined as a Santi dry suit diver I prefer to find an all rubber glove that I can just pull over my rubberdry suit cuff such as your marigold or Amazon chemical gloves I may still be able to find an Amazon chemical gloves and three XL that will work as a pull over glove. However, I’m not opposed to going with the ring system if necessary.

What XXXL size chemical gloves did you use? Where they cotton lined and if so what ring system are you using?

Thanks for the replay I just called Dive Right In SCUBA and they confirmed the SANTI - GREY DRY GLOVES XXL are also a proper fit as they have several divers using this configuration currently with success. I ordered a set. 🤙🥶🤿😎 Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter

Always better to have bulky fingers that you can feel in stead of thin fingers that you can’t feel.

What’s the technique for clearing your mask without using your hands? Anything special I should do or is it as easy as just exhaling from my nose?

    • @mottunderwater8531
      @mottunderwater8531 3 ปีที่แล้ว

An easy exhale while cracking the bottom of your mask skirt seal with half of a smile or something to open the bottom should do the trick. It’s a great way to get the small amounts of water out without needing to stop and do a full clear. Thanks for asking:)
