If they really wanted to tryhard, Future could have had Sly use the scuba tank to dive into the ocean Cypress style, and they would have been out of there instantly. Or, they could have driven right to LS and stash the shit as well. Besties didn't do that and gave Hydra/Manor a shot at grabbing the crate.
