RIAT 2024 - Mon Departures
มุมมอง 4017 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Filmed on the Monday following the 2024 Royal International Air Tattoo, from Park and View West. Video includes almost all of the departures that day. Unfortunately due to camera malfunctions I didn't catch the German Typhoons and NATO C-17 departures, which frustratingly were some of the most spirited that day.

I've seen Eagle II and Advanced Eagle. Which is it?
What a bird!!! 🤩
I flew those in the 1970s
I was in Naval Aviation, but I'll have to say these F- 15's are very impressive!
I saw it
I was at that
The most amazing aircraft! Brilliant footage, big thumbs up!
Thanks, highlight of the week for me
Superb video thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you
Poor greek taxpayers....
Cheaper than F-35s and maintenance cost
What is games?
ArmA, as per the title of the video
Other than usa and raf hellenic airforce are not to be messed with
I love how the engine noise just overpowers the speaker every time something big came up
I will soon have the video from the proper video camera uploaded, including their departures
Phucking Phabulous Phantastic PHANTOM!
Good old Ladys 😊😊
I had no idea there were still F-4s flying!
Greece, Turkey and Iran. South Korea just retired theirs and Japan not that long ago
Saw them over Cheltenham routing to fairford. Classic silhouette.
Loooove it!
look at the damn plane you nerds
bro what
Beautiful aircraft
Ummmm.... not. Striking? Yes. Beautiful? LOL - nope!
awesome :)
What a great wee clip. I hope your got some great shots of it. Thank you for posting it. Eugene in Ireland 🇮🇪 😊 👍
Thanks, everything is being captured on the main video camera but I won't be able to upload any of that until next week

Crowd cheering because Ajax managed to travel 500 yds without any of the crew throwing up...........................
Remind me of the old M114. That was a piece of junk!
I think the last "company" to fly these on regular 3rd class service was the U.S. Marshal's air service... AKA "Con Air"... No joke!
If you don't include Epstein's Lolita Express.
Ahhh. From a time back when Boeing was king of the skies.
Damn they actually show Ajax to show off on the event, I wish I was there😢
So incredible that they managed to get the entire British army over for tankfest!
It's incredible how unfunny and predictable you are.
Nice of the army to bring ALL their tanks down to Tankfest….
Good one, but jokes are usually funnier when they're true.
It's ugly and beautiful at the same time
Back before Easter this year I went to the tank museum and saw the Tommy in the trenches tour. The guide was explaining to us the experiences of what young soldiers had to go through. At the end of the tour he said that this exhibition was built in November 1998. I asked him if he could bring back the original audio to the trenches and I showed him some recordings but he said for me to move on. I also asked him if he could switch on the old blue headlights above. He said he won’t because it could be too dark and his younger grandson was too scared to walk through the trenches when he took him to see. However the tour guide did mention that one morning few months ago, his morning job was to open the door to the trenches and use a flashlight to find his way to the operating buttons to turn the audios on as well as the lights. After pulling the switch to turn the sounds on, an unusual noise started playing what seemed like a carriageway train charging through the area followed up with another audio playing of some injured men in the stretchers crying out “water, water!” He thought it was a ghost calling him to fetch some water. After the audio stopped playing, he never heard it again and was very confused because he had never heard this sound before after working in the museum for a couple of years. What could be the problem that activated that particular speaker? Why did it never play again? Could it be repaired and restored?

The P51 show was bad ass.
4 Packard Merlins symphony
what a cool Mark 4.
Very odd. The shown Centurion MBT has markings 101 Tankbat B Eskadron, but it is lacking the bustle-rack and most of all it does not display the unique 101Tankbat camo paint pattern. Besides that, our Centurions Mk5/2 had L7 105mm instead the here shown 20 pounder and we certainly did not have the here shown round searchlight. This actually looks like an Aussie Centurion, but why the Dutch markings? So, what is going on here?
that whole secret sound monitor isnt new at all, US had it in afghan/iraq.
It's a new genration of it, detection range is much futher, accuracy much better and its software intergration is much more sophisticated for the battlegroup
Nice vid, thanks, ive travelled in the back of enough AVF "Warrior" in my younger days & it is what it is, a great AFV & yes its long overdue to retire, something is bugging me about the sound of the Ajax engine
Brings back happy memories . . . AWESOME
Not sure how he confused IS3 and T10. Completely different vehicles
Have you visited the tank museum before 2016?
Yes I did a few times for tank fest
@@SHGPMEDIAMILITARYANDMILSIM nice and have you walked through the trenches back then as well?
@@lightningforesthd3446 yes, that's still the same. I will have a video tour of the museum up at some point when I can clear the editing queue ahead of it
@@SHGPMEDIAMILITARYANDMILSIM the trenches had been updated in 2016
I was in that plane at Charlotte Douglas airport
You may be mistaking it with the actual 'memphis belle'. This is Sally B in the UK. It has the belle nose art on the right side of the nose from playing the role in the movie
Beautiful and evocative aircraft, flown by a superb pilot.
Nice film, except not enough radials. But still fine to hear all those engines.
I will be doing another video at some point which will feature the other stuff which didn't depart with the lot in this video. More radials will be in that one
The Hurricane was very underated and shot down more enemy than the Spitfire . They keep banging on about the Spitfires wings and yet the Mustangs wings were like concrete blocks but a better fighter than the Spit . 🏴
Paul is probably one of the best warbird pilots in the UK, I would say equal to Ray Hanna. As well as commercial aviation, he also had a fantastic career with Red Bull Racing too. As an ex pilot myself, I know just how difficult 4 and 8 point hesitation rolls can be to do well, it's not easy stopping an aircraft rolling at exactly 45 or 90 degrees, as well as stopping your nose from dropping when approaching upside down. The Hawker Fury and Sea Fury were in my opinion the finest British piston engined fighters of the late and post WW2 era.
If I just focus on wings and not the nose, I picture Pierre Clostermann flying his Tempest . Engine noise different of course..but what a sight to see
It's a shame the Tempest didn't make the show but hopefully I won't have to wait long to film it
@SHGPMEDIAMILITARYANDMILSIM I may have to fly back to homeland to see that. Will definitely go back to Blighty to see the Typhoon.
Greetings From New Hampshire (USA) It's wonderful to see some of these Old Girls still flying today. If I were to choose one to own & fly it would be my #1 childhood favorite: The P-51D Mustang.
