In practice before the race I was able to get 1:57.0 laps, with a best lap of 1:56.1. In the race I just felt a bit lost on some corners. I hadn't got proper brake markers for a lot of them and the pressure of being chased flustered me quite a bit, I guess.
Good fun, I do like this little combo. In VR the Cappuccino is a nice place to be.

Was going okay until Dirty Dave shoved me off end of lap 9. Fellow Brit as well, poor show. He loses control, so I slide past and then he intentionally shoves me off into the gravel (26:16), where I lose position and then have dirty tyres and lose further positions. I'm pretty bad online - the stress gets to me, plus I don't want to get in people's way and upset their races. Race went fairly smoothly. When I came out of the pits and the guy overtook me and then started to block me, my heart was racing, especially when I got past him and was trying to make a gap. Faster than the GT3 Mclaren F1 '95, but feels slower and more unruly. It's a shame it has a five speed 'box, would be nicer with a six. Love the XJ220, one of my favourite cars, it's just so big, and 90s! G29 shifter. TC/ABS etc off.

Bought it yesterday, have done several Le Mans grinds with it already. Just after pitting I thought I'd add my TH-cam and record the vr to see how it looks. The car feels a lot faster than its times. 4:12 is my best I think. G29 shifter. TC/ABS etc off.

Been meaning to come here for years. Should have done The Monkey as well in retrospect, but didn't want son to do too much and not enjoy himself. As it was, the driving was twice as long as the riding. Next time. Follow The Dog Perry's Trail Expected it to be dry, was not, bloody British summers!
