Thanks for the validation! It's like you stepped into another world when you entered your egg carton realm cause you couldn't tell what was happening from outside of it!!
sound so horrible. There are 3 treatments to sound, absorb, diffuse or reflect, imo egg tray falls to the category of diffusing the sound and not absorbing the soundwave.
He's recording it through a regular smart phone, relax. Im confident it sounds great in there
