The show technically takes place b4 blue jacket, but I like to think its in his early career when he first started his assignment on Lupin. to be fair, prior to this fight he had been running for roughly 30 minutes while carrying a child while also bleeding out from a shot arm. But yes, in the pilot and the first 2 episodes of this series they really, and I mean REALLY like beating the crap oughta our beloved Inspector. He gets much more competent in his combat skills as the show progresses. By the time the Raven Crime Files role around, he ends up dominating the fights and no one can lay a finger on him Also side note we have also seen the Inspector be easily beaten in a hand to hand fight multiple times in the anime, so i guess he just goes through phases of practicing his combat and slacking off on it. 🤷

Surprisingly it is really hard to find all the episodes online. I visited like 5 sites and even then 3 episodes are missing eng subs. I do have a link, but you will need vlc to play the soft subtitles and each episode does need to be downloaded I believe. Would you like a slew of links for online viewing or would you rather have the 1 link where you need vlc?
