I find my way through the Prison area, encounter a barrel full of acid (because who doesn't have one of those lying around?), and make my way to the Cistern. My most confident installment so far! You’re one step closer, even my heart was pounding towards the end there when you were being chased haha, but you got through your first encounters with the Brute, which is even worse than the Grunts! 24:47 Very clever/observant of you to notice immediately that the soundtrack for the monster was different, most people are so scared they don’t pick up on that! Thank you, I'm very glad to hear that! I'm striving for a good balance. I like a psychological horror as much as the next player (the mood on this one in particular really sticks with me), but some days I'm in the headspace for something wholesome and/or cute, and I'm trying to make room for both on the channel.
Another awesome video! You actually went through all that machinery puzzle pretty fast, nice work! Also my bad sorry! It is the “interact” button not “use,” so it should be left click, it is the same button you use to pick stuff up with like you did with the smaller rock to throw it at the chain. The small difference is, if the hand looks more like a grabby hand (🫳 is the closest emoji there is LOL) then you can just pick it up and carry it, whereas if it looks like a push hand (🖐️) then you hold left click while moving (W, A, S, D) to push/pull it, but you can’t pick it up since it’s too heavy. If there’s no hand at all, whatever it is stuck for good haha.
Thank you again. I think that last bit (about no hand) is what will be most helpful going forward; it would've saved me some time in what will be the next episode, posting Tuesday. But I'm not editing out that bit of bonking around because I think my tool of choice will be amusing.

Congrats on making it through the prisons! That area is SO unforgiving with how dark it is, but you pushed through! Also, I’m not sure how useful it will be since I know these are sometimes recorded in advance, but quick tip: If you want to move heavy objects (like the bed and big rocks) you don’t actually have to use smaller ones haha, though that’s a neat trick you discovered. All you have to do is hold the “use” key (it should be E) and then move your character in the direction you want to push/pull it :D You’ll know you need to do that because the hand symbol slightly changes to look more flat and open.
Thanks for the tip! I had no idea I could interact with heavy stuff that way. It would certainly be easier than having to hunt down a chair or basketball-sized stone every time.

That is so lovely to hear, thank you! I should have the next installment up on the 27th and will have lots of time to record in some upcoming vacation days. I'm trying to intersperse it with other games, but I'm always eager to get back to playing Amnesia: TDD to find out what happens next.

I'm adding it to my wishlist, but I'll wait for it to go on sale before I pick it up, and I'd likely wait a bit more before playing it. I've seen several people's entire playthroughs of that one, and I'd prefer if it were a little less fresh in my mind before trying to tackle it. (Also it's skeery!)

Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. Full disclosure: I think I've seen maybe 30 minutes of one playthrough, but all I remember from it is a hand holding a lantern, walking down a dark corridor, which could be from any point in the game whatsoever. 😂 So this is essentially blind. I'm trying to keep on a regular release schedule, alternating with other games, so new Amnesia episodes should be coming out once or twice a week for you!
