I realized right after recording that I got the name wrong but decided to post it, should have clarified with a comment about that earlier

Usually I’ll sell the skins for a bit higher price than average and sell them on steam if you’re patient enough they will sell. However, if you aren’t I’d recommend just selling for the most profit you can for a reasonable price that’s been sold before if that makes sense

Depending on the trade up and the floats it will be profitable, like with the trade up you’re talking about if the floats for the items are good enough the 10 scar-20 FT will actually turn into MW instead of FT. Which is why it’s important to keep in mind the float values of the skins. If the floats aren’t as good as the ones shown in the video, it will result in the M4 being $0.96 like you said and not be profitable. Depending on where you sell it, it might have a trade hold before you can actually sell it. If you’re on steam, however, you can sell it right away and get some profit. Sometimes you might get hit with a pending balance/funds on steam which can be very annoying at times though. I hope this helped and if you have anymore questions feel free to let me know! Sorry to hear that man, were you not able to hit a profit on any? I’ve had times like that where it just seemed like I couldn’t get a profit no matter what trade up I tried 😭. Hope you have a better luck and profit on those next trade ups!

Average float is so the trade up won’t go over a certain float, causing the prices of the outcomes skins (profit) to lower in price. If the avg float were any lower for the trade ups the profit margin would decrease, if that makes sense? If you have anymore questions feel free to let me know, always happy to help!

At the time of recording this, these prices were possible with steam buy orders. These prices will fluctuate a lot and depending on how we’ll known it is, the prices may go a bit higher, however you can still profit as the outcomes will often times go up a bit as well. This may not be true for all trade ups but most will apply. As for the floats yes they can be a lot more expensive, but you can find them for the right price just gotta be patient. If you’re using steam I’d highly recommend buy orders as they help tremendously. However with buy orders you’ll have to be a lot more patient and willing to wait. Are you using any other third party sites or just steam marketplace?

the problem for me was not finding the skin itself but the floats, i do use some third party marketplaces like bitskins and i couldn't find any field-tested that were around 0.18 float. thx for the reply@@IdkIso

No worries man, always happy to help out! As for the floats they can be a bit difficult to find, with enough time you will be able to get them just gotta be a little bit patient. I found 3-4 on steam with buy orders, and I’m sure you know how hard finding good floats can be on steam, with enough time I’m sure you’ll find some good floats or deals for cheap! If not maybe try out other marketplaces and see which ones got them for the cheapest?

@@IdkIso yes I have done it a few times in the past, gotten ziggy a couple of times and have gotten exposure quite a few times as well. I think it's a good Budget trade up and with lowest risk.

You’ve got some crazy good luck, nice profit though! I’m guessing you made an extra couple or so bucks from the ziggy’s alone. It is quite the neat trade up, with the amount of profit availability and zero risk of losing money. Definitely a good one to try out when either spamming trade ups or jus looking for some extra profit.I suggest doing a lot while you can because I don’t know how much longer they’ll be profitable for! Especially with people getting more into trade ups and such, prices will fluctuate accordingly.

I’m really sorry to hear that man, how long ago did this happen and it might not be too late to try and get it back. Contact steam support and send a ticket over to them! Also just incase they have your password, change it if you use that same password on other sites. You should definitely check your api on steam if you can. How did this happen if I may ask?

0.1999 is the maximum avg float you can have so anything under is completely chillin. You should be good to do 0.18, if that’s what you meant! As long as the avg float for all the skins is below 0.1999 you should be in the clear. Are all your skins .18 or only a couple of them?

I usually sell back the traded up skin or profit on steam or buff163 as these are the only marketplaces I use. Recently I’ve been having to sell them on buff163 due to steam and the issues with pending balance for items sold on steam marketplace. I hope this helped out! It’s hard to explain, since the prices are usually a lot lower than on steam I’d sell it for regular price in buff and with that make a profit because now I’m able to buy trade up input skins for much lower than if I were to go on steam. Although you can probably skip that step and sell on skinport or dmarket, for real money and buy an item on that site you sold the skin for and sell it on buff163 for profit. This is what a lot of traders do to make profit, I hope this helped and if you have any questions at all please let me know, always happy to help!

Unfortunately there is no trade up calculator for buff that I’m aware of, except with the option to show fees and no fees on trade up spy. This could be the buff prices, although don’t quote me on that as there are other market places too. However most marketplaces and people tend to say buff prices>all other prices including steam. Also yes you are exactly correct, I do lose out on a little bit of money but with buff since the prices are fairly cheap even though I sold my profit for cheaper than steam, I can buy those cheap input trade up skins on buff for much less than I would be able to steam, I hope that makes sense? If not let me know I’m more than happy to explain more!

The floats can be a little bit tricky and hard to find especially on steam. I’d highly suggest placing buy orders first and try sniping some skins from the market. With the buy orders at least be patient and you’ll get the floats you’ll need for the trade ups for much cheaper than usual. On steam marketplace, you unfortunately cannot, with buff163 though you can set up buy orders for specific floats. The most you can do with buy orders on steam, is set the amount of items you want and the amount you’re willing to pay for. There are other marketplaces out there, that will have easier access and better buy order systems, but buff and steam market place are the only ones I’d recommend and can ensure safety on!

I’m honestly not too sure why steam has been like that recently. Everyone I know, including me, has had the pending balance for every item sold on steam for no reason. It’s probably something to do with steam trying to crack down on scammers, however, it’s been frustrating having to wait that extra day or two just for some extra balance.
