For some years now I was trying to find this game, remembering only vaguely some artwork and the half of mask/monster face on the star screen. This must be fate that drove me to this vid!

Dude, i remember that strange and fun game. It's been a minute. There were several apogee games that i played. I think I've played both. This and Commander Keen were my fave games over ever played on the PC in the mid 90s. Scorched earth, word rescue, chips challenge the real american one, monster bash, cosmic cosmo and duke nukem (2d metroidvania version).

Happy birthday!! We get face cam too! I saw Phantasmagoria: Puzzle of Flesh gif and got excited! I thought we were going to be playing that. I'm sure you know of the Conversations With Curtis TH-cam channel though. I think we talked about that one once.

I remember this game when I was a child, but bloody hell the amputation scene shocked as well the cannonball impact with the piece of splinter going through one of the sailors and half-torso under the water. How this was approved i don't know, and it was an educational game! nevertheless it show me and other kids the horrors of war!

So I had this game growing up, and all I can remember is when I came across that rabbit he scared me so much to the point where I turned it off and ran out of my bedroom. This game felt like a fever dream, it was so weird. I also had a thesaurus kids cd rom in the 90’s that had an alien character but there aren’t any videos on it nor do I remember the name of it. I would also love to see the kids game Alistair’s Aliens that was based off the kids book. I haven’t seen game play of that game in years

47:06 How did you got the robot controllers to work properly? I've tried on windows 98 and xp Virtual Machines but the sensibility is way off and makes the robot uncontrollable

Please, PLEASE continue this gameplay! Trust me, it's such a great game! As a kid, I was a little scared of its spooky nature, though 😅. And I played the Swedish version of it, and Anubis's voice used to creep me out!😮 But it is a great game! You learn so much about the time when the pyramids were built. And however, the way you solve the Star Gazing level is that you must follow a single little star (any random you want, and I mean just a little dot; it doesn't have to be a full star picture.) Simply follow that little star from where it rise to wear it lands and place the rocks on those two places. And it doesn't matter where the astronomer's stick is placed at that moment, it will move itself to the middle automatically. Took me a while to find that out, too, as a kid! 😄 So please continue, you're the first one who actually plays this game with commentary. Would be so nice to see more of your reactions to it! 😊

It's been almost 30 years since I last played this game.

Omg, this brings back memories. DK Castle Explorer was one of my favourite games as a kid! I loved the aspect of infiltrating a castle in disguise, having a secret compartment inventory, and solving puzzles to bring down the baron.

I actually loved prunes as a kid, lol.

I own this on cd rom still. Played the hell out of it in high school.

Like you said, this looks a bit mobile gamey to me and possibly too easy. My buddy and I streamed Oregon Trail II awhile back (thankfully that's up on my channel) which was a lot of fun.

I could hear the Major, but also a bit of Lori Alan, I always get the two performers mixed up.

Haha my best friend and I still talk about the skits we made in this back in the 90s. We are in our 40s now and still miss those days. I'm glad other people remember this program! It came as a cereal box prize here in the states.
