This 9,500km road trip to the North really touched our hearts and made us think to go back very soon. The gr...

I'm most impressed with how you just casually went into a Karstadt/Intersport to buy some trail running shoes without any fancy running analyses/consultation it seems.

Fortunately, I have healthy feet and I´m used to wear minimalist shoes for many years. Did a lot of research regarding running in extreme cold and received valuable input from the trail running community. I exactly knew what to focus on when buying. In general, professional advice can always be helpful, though.

Dear Caro, I would like to express my deepest praise for the great video that impressively captures the documented sporting performance. From the first steps to the goal, the presentation radiates an admirable endurance and impressive power. It is inspiring to see how much dedication and determination have been put into each phase of this journey. The visual representation and the emotional depth of the video have touched me very much and show that sporting success goes far beyond physical abilities. It is a true testimony of courage, perseverance and the tireless effort necessary to reach such heights. Thank you very much for this outstanding work and the inspiring message you convey. Gregor

Some of our oldest trees in America are massive, profound creatures, so I was expecting Old Tjikko to be relatively comparable; however, I appreciate her even more given the humble stature. Thank you for sharing her with us! It seems like a dichotomy that the rawness of such a barren land can hold your soul so gently. Carolin, you are a fantastic storyteller. I could really feel the energy, emotion, and intention with every segment of your travels shared with us. This was a beautiful series, thank you. ✨

Most people are quite surprised about her size. Due to the harsh extremes of the environment up there she’s not that tall. It’s been really overwhelming to see her this close and feeling her presence. Experiencing the dichotomy of a barren yet gentle land was absolutely powerful and heart touching. I’m so happy to hear that I was able to convey those emotions and feelings I felt during this trip. It was an honor to share this with you! ♥️

Beautiful surrounding !! Next when you're in Nature be barefooted. Mother Nature delights to meet /caress our bare soles. She has loads of goodies to offer. We call her Mother Nature or Mama Earth because she looks after all things that grow and walk on her. The soles of our feet are like the roots of a tree. Just the way she feeds the plants and trees,so she does to us Humans too. All we need to do is to connect with her through the soles of our feet. Our soles have been designed to absorb free Electrons from the earth's surface. Apart from that walking on sand gravel and stones/ pebbles our entire body gets stimulated through the Sensors /Nerve endings which are created under our feet. Those sensors are placed /created for a purpose and that purpose is to go barefoot. Always remember our feet were meant / created to be bare. We humans are the only beings that walk with footwear and by that stupid move we have separated ourselves from this great relationship with Mama Earth. If you're not the type who walk barefoot at all. Start off from home. Be ALWAYS barefoot when you're at home( that's inside the house as well as in your garden ). You may feel uncomfortable at the very outset as the soles of your feet are soft and tender. But don't get discouraged ,move on..... they adjust faster than you think as they're meant created to be bare. Unless otherwise it's very very essential, don't wear any form of footwear. Let your soles enjoy the company of Mother Nature. She takes care of your feet and soles much better than you do. Your feet and soles love and deserve that freedom. Adopt barefoot lifestyle for good health and happy feet and soles !!!
