@@Myras. Don’t put yourself down - you got him! And a no-hit as well. You’re quite passive and roll away alot which locks you out of a lot of damage opportunities. But its takes time to learn all his moves and the best positioning. I’ve spent a long time with him to get to this point but trust me- he still kills me regularly with stuff even now lol.

@@flingsmashswit2 No problem. If you stagger them during the animation tbey never do it again so its one on one until whichever one dies and the next one spawns. @@stanleyfoldes8714 its not particularly skilful considering you never actually engage with the boss and only have to deal with single/triple lasers and the orbs. You’ll never see the mega laser and will always be out of range of the aoe. You’re just throwing out rain of arrows- hence the cheese.

do u have any tips for when to shoot? metyr does nothing until i ready a shot, then snipes me during.

@ In phase 1, if you wanna be safe, wait out the single laser blast and dodge it. Theres a big window for shots afterwards where she won’t do anything if you keep range. In phase 2, you have to be more careful. Follow the openings I go for in the vid (after tbe gap closing spin etc).

It can still annoying as he will often randomly either hit you or go into to clone mode after refilling your blue, rather than just stand there, which ends in a reset. You can see the build and the flask has stamina regen speed and the cerulean sapping tear (v important). The headpiece is the AoW Scarab. I also used Golden Vow and Bloodboil before entering the fog. If you’re using Scadu, it won’t take as long.

@@mrcarnage5112 yea, I was specifically watching to see when you used the blue flask, I know from trying to stance break to prevent it. I just can't out damage the clones in time..... I'm sure I'll get it with this strat. I'll message when I do. Thanks , again.

Tried holy set ups (Hammer + Sacred blade, Balls + Holy Grease) and this outdamaged them all. Go figure…..

Yes, the add damage from flaming strike is very huge at +0. Some testing: Iron ball (no infusion) CR2: 342 fire infusion: 366 fire infusion + flaming strike active: 670 sacred infusion: 308 sacred + sacred order active: 340

@@mrcarnage5112 Flaming strike iron ball is just that good. Only thing I found better was messmer soldier axe, but the faster CR2 from balls cam make for better DPS I feel like I can kill Messmer faster with fire balls than with lightning/sacred MSA

@@RuiSoulsArchiveYeah - flaming strike (and lightning slash) really do the heavy lifting at +0. I like to use a lot different weapons/set ups at +0 and only use the balls/starfists occasionally as while they’re fun, I do find them a little boring. And they can be outdamaged by other set ups on certain match ups by things like the Twinned Knight Sword consecutive/charged attack build with either RKR, FS or LS.

Bleed is classed as Aux. Poison and Rot are Status. I’ve already done RL1/+0/No Aux or Status/No Aow. Best weapon for those restrictions is the Alabaster Lords Sword. If allowing Aow, either Lightning Slash or Flaming Strike on whatever you like (as long as there is no innate - no, the passive can’t be removed). Best options are Messmer Soldier Axe, Stone. Club, Claymore, Mantis Blade, Cleanrot Knoghts Sword, Iron balls etc.

@@mrcarnage5112 ah I see, I wasn't aware that aux and status meant different things, thanks for clearing that up! I'm curious though, why the Alabaster Lord's Sword for no AoW?

@@arrowtongue NP- ALS comes out on top because it has high Motion Values (the hidden muitiplier that gets applied to each attack when the game works out the final AR), its R2s/CR2s use the same stamina as a dagger and you don’t have to meet the INT requirement as its scaling means most of the damage is physical so you only losing the tiny bit of magic damage). Plus its AoW is useless and can’t be removed.

@@Xornicus Cheers! What do you mean by full runs? I’ve done multiple +0 runs in with many different restrictions including no stat boost and no Aux/Status/AoW/Sleep. If you mean a hitless run, thats not for me as I don’t have the patience. I just like my boss fights to be no hit. I am preparing to the DLC at +0. Probably no Aux/Status but using fragments before losing those too. Because I’ve done all these fights so many times at +0, I just try to make them a bit more entertaining and use AoW to jump/dodge attacks. I have no editing experience so I just use the PS5 functionality to upload stuff as is.

@mrcarnage5112 yeah I was referring to a no hit run, but I agree with you on that. I prefer just no hitting the big fights too, I usually run full upgrades and everything though lmao. I'll watch the DLC matches when they drop.. good luck 😂

Right now I'm stuck on Maliketh on my level 1 playthrough.

Its actually not too bad to dodge but the main thing for consistency is to know the change to the finish is coming, which is kinda why I put this up. The problem with those clones is that you’re conditioned to expect their standard finish so go for the dodge roll which will get you killed. So just outspace all the clones and do the same with the final aoe.

You start at RL1 as wretch and all stats are 10. Most people use stat boosting equpment to reach the stats needed for various weapons, like I did here but you still remain RL1.
