Race Question 🏁: If you could have one celebrity sing you to sleep at night 🌉, who would it be and why? My answer: If I could have one person sing me to sleep 💤 at night 🌉, it would be Sam Moran. It would be Sam Moran because he has such a beautiful singing voice. If he could sing me to sleep at night, I would like him to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star because he sings that very beautifully. And then my teacher read it and she wrote a note saying, "Hannah, Sam Moran is for little kids. Why can't you pick a more age appropriate person, like John Legend? Sure, Sam Moran is cute, but please pick someone more appropriate for someone of your age." I told her that Sam has such a beautiful singing voice and that I have little brothers and little cousins and she said, "I understand, but please pick someone more age appropriate." And then my other teacher said, "The Wiggles are for little kids. You're too old for that Sam guy." And then he put a hand on my shoulder. Teacher #2: The Wiggles are for little kids. Listen to more age appropriate music. Also Teacher #2: Loves Mister Rogers, wears a bib, has a bedtime, loves cartoons, loves coloring with crayons, sleeps with a stuffed animal, and cries very easily.
I can relate. I have a project I'm working on that is basically listing things from "kids stuff" I probably wouldn't know or take a longer time to find out about myself. I am tired of older ppl saying we should be embarrassed to like certain things and feeling embarrassed bc I was brainwashed into thinking I should be. I think I might even make a video on it one day.
