Hey guys welcome back to my channel, today I wanted to come by and drop that review I promised you for the Rain router I bought. Guys I know I was upset about this and how it wasted a lot of money for me. I’m okay now! And I understand that the Rain will work for the ones with good coverage. Unfortunately for me it didn’t work, and my location plays a huge part, I did think about the coverage before getting it, I enquired and the service providers assured me that it will work perfectly fine. But I still had my doubts. The rain router looks really good and has good features, covers etc. I love that about it but unfortunately has poor service and affect my schedules, and work. Oh yeah I have exaggerated at some point but 🥴 not to offend them, I’m just mad that sometimes people market things in a way that is not cool.

Hey Mphile, Thank you for the entertaining and informative video. I have one question: can you tell me how many volts the power supply delivers to the router? Normally such devices are operated with 12V. But I have heard that the Rain router needs 19V, like a laptop. It's an interesting question because you like to have a battery / UPS available to keep the router running during constant power cuts. Thank you! 👍

Are you high ? my rain speed on 4g is download 56.3 upload 17.1
Wow! Nah mine was always low and I thought they said it up to 30mbps.

I have exactly the same problem , good download speeds ,but no upload speads!! Im a little bit peeved!!~!, am surroundes by transmitters but, still no good!!!

I suggest that you request for a call and talk to them if they keep doing that.
You're so right. The service I got from Rain was horrible. Absolutely bad network coverage and their bill keeps increasing and they keep claiming they gave me active service when I recieved no connection. They take money from your account without permission, it's just a mess!!! Even their cancellation policy is a trap. They want you to pay their made up amounts before you cancel. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!!!
Did the router work during Load Shedding?
Hi, I only started using it in April, I don’t think I will work though unless you have the UPS or some kind of power bank.

Yep, that’s how they roll. Maybe you are not in a good coverage area.
What challenges do you have with it up to so far?
I no longer own it, I guess my coverage wasn’t enough at all, struggled with no connection to internet, Zero Mbps and constantly having to move around with it. Check my shorts for more details.

Right, yet one of the sales guys told me that it’s portable and easy to travel with. 😂 when I explained that I travel a bit.
Send it back, they are chowing working class wages with a defective product and service.

Got one last month and sent it back 2 weeks later. Signal showed full bar but the connection speed was 1mbps to 3mbps. Rain even admitted over the phone there's an issue with the tower in my area and there's nothing they can do now to help me.
