Right on! Glad it can point you in right direction. I ended selling my entire setup, and truck nose dive….not as near as bad as it does stock but I grew to love it..I every now and then tow heavy things and it handles it like a champ

Yeah you can kinda see in the beginning how I was tacking everything in place while on the vehicle. Most of the parts you don’t have to though.

Hey man sorry for late reply, but 2.4 is good just keep an eye on cheap plastic chain guides that tend to break other then that they’re good little engines

Hey man thanks for reaching out, and yeap sure am! I ended up selling my camping setup and now has the I famous nose dive…not as bad as stock but since I use my truck for work and occasionally tow heavy things I left the leaf pack. Absolutely love it

@@boondocksoverlandandoutdoors ok thanks for the info. i have a camper that's around 400lbs plus a few hundred pounds of gear so probably 600lbs constant. wondering what route i want to go. new leaf pack, this DIY mod, airbags, RAS.... so many options and a big range of prices

@dirtnsmores Yeap..lots of options but you’ll be happy with this cheap affordable route. Very straight forward and simple mod. Air bags are nice but more potential failure points like, air leaks, busted air bags etc. and well a name brand leaf pack is gonna cost you a pretty penny plus to what I’ve herd wait time is ridiculous.

Went with Viper brand. Been holding up zero issues for the last 10years. If I remember correctly I spent 150 for whole setup.

Forsure man have to get around to it, the swap has been the best thing I’ve done to this truck, still going strong!

I will man soon as this TH-cam stuff starts paying! lol

@@boondocksoverlandandoutdoors can you do an e-locker on a 4th gen 4Runner or it has to be an air Locker?

@davidaix5771 you can do either or I’ve seen ppl fit an E locker with minor modification to axle housing and I know they sell a harness for it as well, iirc elocker would come out of a fjcruiser

Couldn’t agree more with you! Sometime I miss my reliability but yet to have any major breakdowns…I have taken it in long distances trips as well with no issue….yet 😆

Similar comments were said and like I mentioned in one of them…this seemed to be a legit part of the trail…throughout the rest of the trail there was clear signs or even logs across sections of the trail were it was obvious they didn’t want you veering off path..which we stayed OFF of…don’t jump to conclusions simply by what you see in that particular part of the video. I always strive to leave any place I visit the same or better then when I found it..which can be proven in more of my videos. So to you and anyone else who wants to jump to conclusions and judge someone simply by what they see in a particular part of a video…I say to you quit being a KAREN and get your facts straight! But anywho thanks for tuning in and sharing your concerns 🤙🏽✌🏽😆

Hey man sorry for such a delayed response, the rtt is actually a 2 person tent, and I’m 6ft 220lb and my wife and I fit comfortably with room to spare for a small doggo or child. And to be honest man I forgot what brand my roofrack is..I bought it off of marketplace and I forgot the brand, it isn’t any name brand one that are popular, but it has held up great and is very beefy. All aluminum.
