Would love if you could offer the piano sheets :(
Haunting....love it!
You're really good! Are there other websites you post updates on? Thanks 😊
Well I know some more music to use... awesome work
My DM has been playing this track for our campaign and it just feels so right for my Vistani character and they're backstory! Such a beautiful piece, I plan on playing some guitar over it ❤❤❤
absolutely Incredible. I love all of your Cos pieces.
Excellent! All your art for CoS is incredible
Does this piece tie in to your vol. 1 piece, "Strahd's Sorrow" near the end? Because i sense a motif from that piece at the end of this one.
Indeed. His theme (that motif) is featured throughout the piece in one variation or another. It's in ALOT of pieces that have his influence in the story behind whosoevers track it is. The same with Ireenas Theme, and a few others - reoccurring elements that tie in the pieces like a film score. Atleast, that's my intent and hope.
That piano is playing so fast you almost can almost hear Strahd threatening to slaughter the pianist’s family
"Is No Fun, Is No Blinsky!"
oo! I remember your stuff from a while ago. this is sounding great already. I am eager to see what new works you produce!
Our GameMaster used this for his first ever DnD campaign (it was, of course, Course of Strahd), and man i love it so much, it was after harch battle on the way to Vallaki, playing during cliffhanger, its so lovely!
Hey! My DM played this on repeat while we raided Strahd's castle in the final showdown we had in our campaign. I would love to learn this piece on the piano. Is there any place (like a patreon or something) where I could find the sheet music?
Such talent. What an evocative piece. Thank you for sharing with us.
I love that the art and music is giving me vibes of a game over screen for a retro gothic horror roguelike.
Nice love it wish i could praise it properly but i'm no music genius
Thank you so much for listening :)
You mentioned in the description that your COS campaign was heavily modified. I’ve been doing research for running my own, so if you care to expand on that, I would love to listen and take notes! I figure if it inspired this music, it must be amazing!
It was indeed heavily modified. A notes video for the campaign is on the pipeline (unfortunetly near the back of it) due to the amount of creative outlets and projects I have going on. Is there a topic in particular you'd like me to discuss?
@@MerlinCGBroadway Nothing specific to make mention of, but as this is my first time DMing a full campaign, any suggestions would be appreciated! I found that modifying the Death House made it much more enjoyable for my players, so I am on the lookout for any information that could help me do the same with CoS. For example, I've heard starting the adventure in Krezk vs. Barovia Village creates a smoother story progression. I kind of currently have my eyes and ears open for little tips like that as I'm prepping, so if you have anything to add, I would love to know. Meanwhile, I'll subscribe and look forward to your notes video. Thanks! (Edit: By the way, did you write the quotes in the descriptions yourself? Honestly, they are so good.)
@@DMofBriseras yes, they're all quotes from NPCs and things from my game.
I'd say the biggest changes I made were to Strahd and his backstory. Definetly leaned heavily into the tragic villain. My advise for people running this game would be to really study your strahd. Really know what makes him tick and have him show up constantly. Not necessarily to fight. In my game, Strahd was tied to the fate of the dread plane. And the centre of the wheel he described it, and heavily implied that he was well aware of the circle of torment he was subjected to. (Alot of Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain influence in my game) He viewed the players characters as his chance to attain free will, they were free from the spokes of fate and thus could be key in ending his cycle. With that in mind he would constantly test them, or manipulate them in such a way to further goals that he knew would fail if he were to chase them. So yeah cool changes like that that change how people are. TLDR: Focus on your Strahd and use him often to guide the story to further his goals.
@@MerlinCGBroadway I am definitely struggling a bit with Strahd's motivations and character development (one could take it in so many directions) but I really like the idea of making the characters sort of his beacon of hope, rather than just his playthings. Seems like it would encourage more dynamic interactions between him and the players, and I like the idea of giving Strahd a bit of desperation to cripple his pride....(would even provide some motivation to unhinge him should they refuse to assist or fail to be of use). I can feel the gears turning in my brain.....thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it.
Wow, this is genuinely beautiful
Thank you so much for this! I'm beyond happy to have your brilliant tracks added to my favourite spotify playlists
Àmazing!
Link only takes me to my Spotify main page. 😄 What is your artist name on Spotify?
Hmm. Odd. Works for people I've sent it to. It's Merlin C G Broadway :)
Sci-fi, Survival and RPG? Sounds freaking amazing to me!
I love your music, I was just wondering if you have uploaded it to spotifiy? I have seen messages from one year ago saying you were waiting so you could expand your library
Not yet. I'm still, in between other things, in the process of figuring the publication process out. Thank you for listening! :D

Good to see more music from you!
MATE THIS WAS GOLD!!!! WELL DONE 🙂
the beginning sounds like somber spongebob square pants
Hi would you consider putting this on Spotify? I love it but use spotify in my games rather than youtube owing to ads
I'm trying to find a distributor that agrees with me for spotift and other services, until then, the tracks will remain on youtube. Thanks for listening!
i cant find on spoty damn

Fantastic music for this area and for the campaign!
what's the best way to contact you to discuss music usage for a stream?
Send me an email, that's probably the best way. Thanks for listening!
Great Video so far, watching it rn.
Thank you so much for joining us on our journey :D

Little hard to hear at parts with the music being up a bit loud :( Otherwise great video, love your stuff :3
Apologies for that. Must have missed that in the edit :( Thanks for listening :D

very nice!
Thanks!
Using this tonight. Thank you.
Hope you like it!
This is so perfect. Very well composed.
Reminds me of a pokemon battle.
Man this sounds so good! An awesome piece for combat encounters haha
That is so beautful!
Doing this as battle music in the upcoming fight against Izek. Who has grown to annoyed with the party tand desperate for Ireena
Always happy to see new music on the channel. I'm wrapping up my Curse of Strahd game soon, and I've been using your stuff since the beginning. Keep at it, I'll be watching.
Thanks for the support!
Sounds great boyo !!!
I've finally stopped crying so I can write better how I feel about this song. I haven't played the game but I saw Strahd in a fanart and it caught my attention, I researched it and I liked its story, you can somehow say that I have fallen in love with Strahd The point is that with this song I had a mixture of feelings, maybe I feel too much empathy towards the villains, however the pain it reflects, the loneliness, that desire to no longer be living because everything is gone hit me quite hard. It just made me want to get to Strahd and hug him (even if I die in the process) and somehow calm him down, it's a weird feeling but I just want to end his pain even if it's not possible, even if his curse drags him back. It hurts, I'd just like to help him even if it's a Game.
Thank you so much! Strahd (especially my interpretation I feel) truly is a tragic character. I'm glad you like it!
@@MerlinCGBroadway Love him as you have no idea, maybe try to learn the song
@@Dusty_evsky might I suggest checking out another piece of mine. My personal favourite, that I think really describes the tragedy of Ireena Kolyana and her link to Strahd, which can hear as their themes combat eachother and intertwine. I think you'd really enjoy it.
@@MerlinCGBroadwayI would appreciate the suggestion (sorry if I'm wrong, English is not my native language) I really think I'll try to try the game, really the melodies are so appealing that I could spend hours and hours listening to them. If this video increases views it is my fault.
Remember that Strahd only became a vampire because Tatyana, a woman whose land he invaded, rejected him, and his whole curse is that he simply won't accept the fact that she doesn't love him.
Random question but are you able to put these up on Spotify at all? I run my D&D music off Spotify and would love to include your awesome work in our campaign, thanks!
My plan for Spotify is to upload them when I feel more comfortable with the amount of tracks I have produced as it will be more cost effective to upload them in batch rather than piecemeal. Having to pay out to add new tracks over and over will cost me a small fortune.
A banshee nearly TPK'd us in Vallaki. Barovia is a unforgiving land... 🧛
Man, this piece as well as all of your other music for Curse of Strahd is fantastic! I've been using some of the tracks while running CoS with my friends, and they all love your music too~ Keep up the great work!
Glad you enjoy it!
How does this piece have 2 dislikes?
I've noticed that on a few of my other works too. I guess you can't please everyone.
Absolutely amazing! Although given Ezmerelda being such a badass, I do wish the more intense portion starting at 2:44 went on a bit longer. Overall, very inspiring.
Its the lead into another piece I have ok mind. Watch this space
