Seems unlikely

Great question. If the cost of supplies comes down as Trump says he can make happen, then we might see the cost of building go down. Think of it like this, however. How often do we ever see prices go down on things? I used to pay 25 cents for a McDonald's burger and under $1 for a gallon of gas. Do we ever think prices will go back to where they once were? That's not generally how our economy works, unfortunately. It's more likely prices may level off or not go up so quickly more than they are likely to come back down.

Bigger question will Trump actually work on balancing the budget? Hate to be the bearer of bad news but when the Feds continue to pump money into the system it won't matter if they make rate cuts etc.. because the debt has a life of its own. That's why on that last rate cut it didn't work. Although it did for a short while it went back up because of bond market concerns. Trump will actually have to reduce spending if he has any chance at all to lower inflation. Facts. So to answer your question no. Not anytime soon anyways. Unlike Harris's fairy tales of price gouging the value of the USD does go down with higher inflation.
