    Terrible coaching on both sides of the ball. The worst line in football. No offensive scheme adjustments to shorten wide receiver routes, knowing that stroud has zero time in the pocket. Lack of urgency to add talent and depth before trade deadline. Laremy 'ass-hat' Tunsil and his 19 million senseless penalties. And an offensive line made of a bunch of guys that wiggle their fingers when reaching for a donut. This team is going nowhere, as per usual with the Texans. Not worth anymore sunday time of mine.

    41 ball. The problem is Jalen is the only starter who doesn’t get easy shots set up for him. He’s expected to create all his own looks. Fred takes the tech free throws where other teams the first or second option takes those. On the break with Jalen and someone else they usually give the ball to the other guy. He only gets catch and shoot 3’s which isn’t his strength then when the shots not falling we looking confused. Get him easy shots let him take the tech free throws get him chances to see the ball go in. Fred takes too many hero ball shots that could go to Jalen. He needs to be more point guard for Jalen the way he is for everybody else. Notice all the games Fred and Sengun play bad Jalen did great. Like the start of the season. His inconsistency comes from his shot diet. Force him to take the shots no one wants him to take he plays bad. Give him easy shots and let him get going he’s great. Simple.

    • @callummorton9060
      @callummorton9060 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Firstly let me admit he had a great game last night. His ability to have hot spells scoring isn’t the doubt though, it’s his overall game. It’s his 4th year in the league and although he looks more mature and from the eye test perspective looks a bit better. His rebounding has hardly improved his scoring hasn’t taken a jump his playmaking is still non existent and his defensive numbers are nigh on identical year on year on top of that his efficiency has actually got worse. If this team is a winning team not playing to his strengths then why start now? I don’t think the guys a bad player but I also don’t think you should build around a guy because he had a hot month post all star last season. He’s shooting 39/32 splits even after dropping 40. Is he really any better than a Thomas, Sexton or Mathurin?

    • @hamnocheesee5398
      @hamnocheesee5398 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ he’s 6’4. The rebounds aren’t ever gonna be great. Everybody isn’t a multidimensional player of the LeBron (points rebounds assists archetype) and we have ton of guys who we expect to grab rebounds if he not getting them someone else is so that’s a bad take. His defense has clearly gotten better to anyone who’s watching. Again his playmaking not only has gotten better but if Fred has the ball majority of the time when he does get the ball he’s look at to create HIS own shot which was my point to begin with. Everybody not gonna score 15+ have 5+ rebounds and 5 plus assists. The players you mentioned also don’t have the responsibility or focal point from defenses that Jalen has. Those guys are 4th and 5th options and treated like such. Even when Jalen isn’t hot he’s guarded by the best or second best player on the floor for opposing teams. Yet he’s included in the offense like a catch and shoot player.

    • @hamnocheesee5398
      @hamnocheesee5398 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think the team is doing fine I was pointing out why his efficiency is what it is. It’s unfair to say hey you’re inconsistent while putting him in position to be inconsistent while everybody else is out in position to win. And at the end of the day we are still winning so stop complaining enjoy the games and improve the offensive schemes.

    • @callummorton9060
      @callummorton9060 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Look I don’t expect him to make huge strides but I don’t see improvement in playmaking he averages as many assists as turnovers. Is he not the highest number of shot attempts on the team? I get it could be more centred around him but why would you do that when you have the likes of Sengun Amen Tari who all look like potentially future all star calibre players.

    • @hamnocheesee5398
      @hamnocheesee5398 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@callummorton9060he takes bad 3’s but that’s also a result of the offense doing nothing for him. I think he should stop at 5-6 threes a game if that. Again watch the games some turnovers are him being dumb some turnovers are his teammates fumbling plays. The same for everybody on the team. Playmaking isn’t just getting the assist it’s drawing the defense to you, it’s hockey assists, it’s gravitational pull, if I draw to kick the ball then the next player kicks and get the assist I set that up. Whole team turns the ball over too much. If anything Jalen needs to stop chucking 3’s. Everything about his game will change when addressing my main point. Which was shown yesterday. He gets better shots he has the rhythm he scores more and he takes less threes. Even got like 10+ free throws. Easy shots easy points make players play better. Minnesota gets a tech free throw he gets the ball. In transition if it’s him and Jaden Ant gets the ball. Also don’t gotta build the team around Jalen just be more inclusive the team is built fine. Adams was healthy and Reed gets experience and we outta here. Stop looking for reasons to complain. Despite all of this we are winning games. The rebuild is working enjoy it.

      What world-scratch that, what country-do you live in? 😎 Most of the criticism directed at Rockets players is aimed squarely at Jalen Green. I know it’s hard to avoid bias, but try to be logical here. Every player on this team has been held accountable. The few times Sengun has been benched were for valid reasons, including issues with stamina, a lack of focus on defense, and foul trouble. And let’s be real-Turkish fans need to set their feelings aside when it comes to Sengun. He’s a really good player, but he’s never going to be on the same level as Hakeem or even Jokic. He lacks a reliable jump shot and struggles at the rim compared to other centers. Tüm Rockets oyuncularının hayranı olun ya da yolunuza devam edin. Batı’da ikinci sıradayız ve bu takım hem Jalen hem de Sengun başarılı olduğunda kazanacak. 🤜🏽🤛🏼

    Wrong!! Jalen has not developed a middy & is a career 32-33% 3 pt shooter. In his 5th season, He still has tunnel vision; low BB IQ; & still cannot create for others. We should have moved on after last season when we could have gotten some value. Trade him. If we get a league average scorer 3pt shooter we make an OKC leap.

    • @christopherrodriguez5054
      @christopherrodriguez5054 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s clear you’re frustrated, somewhat bias and possibly a bit too negative for my liking but let’s take a step back and evaluate Jalen’s progress and potential with a balanced perspective: emphasizing BALANCED!! 1. Improved Midrange Game: While Jalen hasn’t developed into an elite midrange shooter yet, there’s evidence of progress. According to advanced stats, his midrange frequency and efficiency have improved incrementally over the past two seasons, showing he’s actively working on diversifying his scoring arsenal. Midrange development often takes time, and many star players don’t master this area until later in their careers. 2. 3-Point Shooting Context: Jalen’s career 3-point shooting percentage is indeed around 32-33%. However, context matters. He’s often been tasked with taking difficult, contested shots due to the team’s lack of spacing and secondary creators. This skews efficiency numbers for many young players. As the team improves its roster construction, expect those numbers to rise. For comparison, young players like Jaylen Brown also had subpar shooting numbers early in their careers but became much more efficient as their roles evolved. 3. Then there’s the Playmaking Potential: While Jalen has room to grow as a creator for others, he’s made strides in his passing and court vision. Last season, his assists per game increased by nearly 20%, showing a willingness to improve in this area. Young guards often take several seasons to develop high-level playmaking, especially in chaotic or rebuilding environments. Question… have you really been watching the game? Or just watching to create your own bias narrative? It’s a fair question 4. Value of Patience: I talked about this through out the podcast. Overreaction leads to stress and possibly hair loss… Trading a young, developing talent like Jalen prematurely is a shortsighted move. Elite scorers with his athleticism and upside are rare, and many stars don’t fully blossom until their sixth or seventh seasons (e.g., Giannis Antetokounmpo and Devon Booker). Giving up on Jalen now could lead to the team regretting the decision later, as we’ve seen happen with other franchises. 5. “OKC Leap” Comparison:🙄 The OKC comparison doesn’t entirely hold up. Their leap wasn’t just due to league-average shooters ( you sound crazy)-they’ve drafted exceptionally well, added elite defensive anchors, and developed their young core over several seasons. Reaching that level requires patience and investment in your high-upside talent, not trading them away for short-term gains. In summary, Jalen’s development has been gradual, but the talent and work ethic are evident. Cutting ties now would not only stunt the team’s long-term potential but also risk missing out on a breakout season that often comes with time and better roster construction. Patience is key for young stars, especially in a rebuilding environment. I’m not judging you by your lack of patience and over top opinion - to be fair, you might just be a huge fan of the Rockets, but you can’t be A REAL FAN OF THE ROCKETS IF YOUR MOTIVATED BY BIAS and disdain for a particular player.

    I will hold Jalen to a standard of what we all expect from a number 2 overall draft pick. He’s young but he got to show areas of growth. Granted not everything can be measured by stats but shot awareness has to be the number one thing he needs to get better on. Going 1-9 and continuing to shot regardless of misses isn’t helping anyone. Let’s not let this land all on Jalen’s feet but that also has to do with being coached. Or lack there of.

    I really appreciate you guys and the discussion you just had you had a really honest look at the rockets. You were critical but yet you gave them Grace for the learning curve and the dysfunction they had been under the last coach if as a rocket stand you can't see the growth in this team in this team. I don't know what you're looking at. Just think if they're spending all this time working on defense how much are they working on offense. We have to trust the process we want to make sure that our defense is nice and tight and then that way we can hone all of our talents and to be able to run better schemes with our defense holding down like a fort

He is overcomplicating things and you can see guys are thinking too much. That is why our offense looks the way it does. There is a small chance we fix it before the end of the season. We are wasting one of CJ's cheap salary years. We have a few more. Hopefully they figure it out. 😔

    Everyone knows that Bobby slowwitt is the cancer to the team and demico doesn't want to fire the offensive coordinator coach who is crippling the whole team and the owner needs to fix the problem and make the general coordinator fire Bobby slowwitt since demico won't do it.

      I'd say between him and the diva attitude Laremy brings to the O-line room.
