Surfed at Lowers one day late '70's and Purpus was out. I smashed a couple waves and he noticed and kind of nodded. Went into Carl's Jr. after to grab a bite for the ride home and he looked at me and said " nice waves you got ", Stoked my ass out. Mike is a legend in So.Cal.............. Corky is pretty cool too.
I used to view clips with the boys of David and Corky riding twin fins at the pipe. If you are good, it doesn't matter what you ride.

I used to watch MP surf when I was young, he spent more time in the water then anyone. I'm an old guy still surfing !!
