The War on Nigeria Architects
มุมมอง 287หลายเดือนก่อน
We all want to celebrate the urbanization of Nigeria as we see it as progress. But "progress" doesn't have to come at the expense of practicality. Nigerian houses needing constant air conditioning when the country doesn't have constant electricity is madness. And today we discuss this madness. Questioning our architectural choices, looking at alternatives, and focusing on simple solutions to th...

I came across your video. Is it possible to have more engagement with you concerning this topic as I am researching these concepts with respect to energy conservation in buildings?
it is possible to and would love to be of assistance to your research
Randomly found this video that captures some of the conversations I have with a friend of mine who is an expert on urban planning. You thoughts on this matter is spot on. Would really love to see innovations like some of the ones you mentioned in Nigeria's architecture space.
Same here. Recently houses with really narrow windows have been springing up and I wonder how they would go about ventilation. It looks good but na suffer-head
thats the dream, cause this innovations are the housing of the future
Nigerian population grows by 2% I believe not 5%.

Know what is trending right now? The era of negative info about Nigeria or its cities is gone. Positive information about Nigeria now attracts views like the new trains, Abuja etc nobody wants to hear negative info about it’s country
but this information affects the masses, its no point pushing propaganda when the prices in ther market goes up weekly. And like the video clearly highlighted, the government could have better handle the way they implement their policies.
@@MadnessANigerianLiving-bz1mh story for the gods...you think you will be attracting views from foreigners? same foreigners will disrespect you when you get to their airports or embassy because no one washes their dirty clothes to the admiration of the world. there is poverty and inflation everywhere even in the west. vote right! advice is a hard to take
Makes zero sense until passage of time proves they’re just trying to angle out a business deal for one of their cronies
lol i really hope thats not it but then again its nigeria
😂😂😂
First, I really enjoyed this. I was mid-vibing to your soundtracks, lol. Yoo, it's gonna get worse. I've been saying this for a while. As much as we are animals, we are also one with the divine. The divine is the only way out. Lol, but yeah, that is still a myth to a lot. Or we have a case of people thinking they know mostly religious people, and yet they miss the point. Technology has hacked the animal; the animal cannot survive, not in this life time.
👍
That was an interesting take, and your hand gestures were on point. Besides I will not steal money. Number 2.
@@innocentjoseph5927 lol my hand gesture is such a funny compliment. Thanks
The answer is simple, NO.

Accents isn’t a good test of intelligence. There are very intelligent Japanese, Chinese and Yoruba men who don’t speak English. Spoken English isn’t a good test of knowledge
this should be posted everywhere
Social hierarchy doesn’t exist. 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is very insightful. It should be broadcasted in Nigeria churches. They need this sermon.
Lol nigerian churches wouldnt want that. Its too real for them.
