I noticed some "cheaper options" tend to branch too far out into other areas that are not even close in relation to their main focus. Sometimes hiring different contractors for different fields is safer to get things done properly. Like getting a electrician to do your fuse box and a plumber to do a pressure water system.

Most expensive also doesn't mean they so the best job they might just be some fools trying to milk you

It's the leg that has no support.(the one not with the shelf) As you bent down it twisted the glass and broke it.

It would have been better if he lowered the table down holding the legs of the table. Doing what he did created a twisting strain on the glass. I used to work on glass for the military, but I was not suppose to disclose that here.

I think it's broken.

Two legs on the right side, only one on the left. The pressure wasn’t distributed evenly and it broke here the 4th leg would have gone 😅

Too much pressure on the left table leg, it caused it to snap at the corner.

The two legs flexed separately from the shelved side. Flexing forces is when glass gives way, hence why the easiest way to breaks car window is by hitting nearer to the edge.

The castor spun due to the pin that goes into the leg being offset. This created extra force / stress on the leg to table connection.

is the explanation really needed.
