The Nevada Contractors Association’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC) recently concluded its annual Back to School Drive for 2024, marking its most successful year yet! The Southern Nevada construction community came together over several months to support three local elementary schools in Las Vegas: Aldeane Ries Comito Elementary, Dennis Ortwein Elementary, and Robert L. Forbuss Elementary.
THANK YOU to the collective efforts and generosity of industry professionals, the drive raised an outstanding $130,000 in supplies and monetary donations! These contributions included backpacks, writing utensils, notebooks, sanitary items, and many other essential school supplies.
This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our construction community and the dedication of our volunteers, who spent countless hours sorting and packing the donations. Their hard work ensures that students are equipped with the tools they need for a successful and bright school year. We are deeply grateful to everyone involved for making a lasting impact on the lives of these young students.
